I was in a really bad accident in April which led me to be hospitalized for a month and a half. ImI had completed my interview with United and I got an email to schedule an in person interview while I was in the hospital. I went back to schedule an in person interview when I got out last week Monday, and there is no schedule an interview with me available in my job portfolio. I emailed talent acquisition and haven’t received any responses back. Does this mean they moved on?
I also had an in person interview with Delta and they reached back out to me on Monday and I have an in person interview scheduled with them for next week Monday.
Any advice would help on who to contact or email.

What's going on?

A recent Reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, Reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on Reddit, from Apollo to Reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader to Boost.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface. This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free.

What's the plan?

On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action.
What can you do?

1. Complain. Message the mods of /reddit.com, who are the admins of the site: message reddit: submit a support request: comment in relevant threads on /reddit, such as this one, leave a negative review on their official iOS or Android app- and sign your username in support to this post.
   
2. Spread the word. Rabble-rouse on related subreddits. Meme it up, make it spicy. Bitch about it to your cat. Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join us at our sister sub at /ModCoord- but please don't pester mods you don't know by simply spamming their modmail.
   
3. Boycott and spread the word...to Reddit's competition! Stay off Reddit entirely on June 12th through the 13th- instead, take to your favorite non-Reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support!
   
4. Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible.
   

How does this impact /TuckedInPuppies?

Even if you only use the official Reddit app and/or "New Reddit" on desktop, this change still impacts all of us. Reddit's prohibitively expensive API access costs will prevent easy access to content that a lot of you come to this subreddit for, as well as making our job as internet janitors more difficult, which will result in more off-topic and low quality posts clogging up /new and abusive or spam messages staying visible longer. A little about me. I feel like I’m a pretty happy person overall. I feel extremely blessed to be healthy both physically and mentally. Well my physical form could use some work that’s for sure lol.
So I’m a person who operates best when I’m in a relationship. I guess I should say I’m generally happier with a partner with me to just spend time with and go on fun adventures. It’s been a really long time since I’ve been single for any amount of time, was married 13 years and then had two long term relationships after that. To say I’m a bit weary from relationship life is an understatement. That’s contradicting myself a bit but stay with me. Being in so many long term serious relationships is where the problem lies for me. I think at this very moment in my life I’d love to have a best friend to explore life with but not necessarily have things be so serious.
Just a situationship that can benefit both our needs which is why I’m looking for someone who would like something on the more casual side of the spectrum. I enjoy binging shows and definitely watch way too much TV but maybe we can binge something together? I also enjoy getting out, day trips, game nights with friends etc.
Essentially what I’m looking for is someone 30-48 who has a bubbly personality and sharp wit. Wit is the fastest way to my heart lol. Sorry in advance for the long, and possibly confusing post but I am at a loss for what to do in this situation. My wife, a SAHM, and I have been together for about 7 years and married for about 2.5. We had a daughter last year and she is now almost 8 months old. I have really been feeling like a single parent lately and also like I actually have 2 children, one being my obvious daughter and the other being my wife. My wife has a history of mental health issues such as BPD, ADHD, and anxiety. I wish I knew what these things entailed before getting too far into things. Anyhow, this all really went downhill when she started last week talking about possibly wanting a 2nd child in the future. I just spoke my mind openly and kept it civilized and pretty much told her how I feel that I probably don’t want another child, as I am stressed and overworked as it is because I feel like I am parenting 2 children already. She went downhill after this and got very upset (she usually has trouble controlling emotions). We visited family this past weekend out of town and she drank which she shouldn’t be doing anyway since she is on clonozopam. She got out of control and kept my parents up until like 3 in the morning and was talking nonsense about divorce and taking my daughter away from me and taking me for my money. It was embarrassing. I am usually an early riser and I don’t mind taking care of our daughter when she first wakes up and feeding her breakfast and whatnot but it has got to the point where my wife will sleep in everyday until like noon if I don’t wake her up and I just feel overwhelmed and don’t know what to do. I feel the next logical step would be marriage counseling and then go from there. We have been looking at buying a home but I figure it would be smart to rent until I know for sure what the future holds. Does anyone have any input or has dealt with a similar situation? I would hate to end up divorcing and putting my daughter thru a lifetime of what that entails, but at the same time would hate to stay in what appears to be a manipulative and abusive relationship.

My goal with training my puppy has been to only use positive training methods. I’ve managed to do that about 95% of the time – and it does work. I just feel terrible and like a horrible owner when I resort to yelling. I’ve only yelled at her twice, and I feel so guilty thinking about it, but in those moments, I don’t know what else to do.
The last time I yelled at her was about a week ago. I had received a package and the mailman rang the doorbell. That always sends my puppy wild. I went to go grab my package and when I opened the door, she ran up like a lightning bolt. She had her head through the door and was fighting me HARD to get outside. I kept saying, “no, you need to get back,” and “stay.” Even holding her back was making it worse. This all happened so fast, and she had nearly made it out the door before I yelled, “NO, ARIA! GET BACK!” She stopped immediately and walked away with her ears down which made me start crying. I only yelled because I could see an image in my head of her darting out the door and into the road, then getting hit by a car. Literally, my biggest nightmare.
The other time I’ve yelled at her is for months I have been trying to get her to be gentle with my friendliest cat. I have three cats, and two out of the three have shown her what it means to violate a cat’s boundaries. My other cat is a super friendly cuddle bug who has zero survival instincts whatsoever. She treats him like a chew toy, and it makes me unreasonably upset – he’s such a sweet little kitty, you know. For months, I have tried positive reinforcement and redirection but absolutely no progress had been made in her behavior in this aspect. I snapped recently and yelled at her, saying, “NO! YOU BE NICE TO THAT CAT!” She immediately stopped and walked away, looking sad. She has been gentle with the cat ever since. I think the reason I snapped is I have trauma from a dog mauling a family cat when I was a teenager, and my puppy is getting bigger. When she was little, I knew the chances of hurting the cat were low, so I wasn’t that upset about it. The chances of her hurting the cat gradually grow the older she gets.
I’m just struggling and conflicted. I feel like such a bad person. It seems nothing breaks her focus except for yelling when she’s very excited. It’s like she has tunnel vision and I’m just some background noise. She only “comes out of it” when I’m more distracting than whatever she’s frantic about. Normally, she is an excellent puppy and a very good dog. But it’s these few specific circumstances that happen where I am so overwhelmed that I don’t know what else to do other than to yell and I feel horrible.

I know it's my decision , but I have been looking at other colleges and most don't have what I am looking for. The only school that does is SNHU, but I was indecisive about that one just because of financial aid.
State universities don't have the major I want online. I was thinking of WGU as well. I want to major in psychology with a concentration in child and family studies or human services with a concentration in child and family studies.
With human services, I think I would have more courses to transfer in. The two universities I looked at in my state don't offer those online. One offers social work, but it's filled up for the fall semester.
What should I do? I know it's my decision.

I'm not sure what the measurements are or how to research it due to this. The testing center said the levels were at 80/130 then the top number increased while the bottom number decreased in the next test.
What could cause this? And does anyone know what the numbers mean?

Hi I just recently got the brand as a tattoo and I was wondering what’s the easiest answer to what it means when asked by someone who knows nothing about Berserk

So here’s the situation. My brother, 37M, has been married to my SIL, 36F, for well over a decade and they have young children together. They got married relatively young, but we’ve known her family and relatives our whole lives, and there have been a few marriages between us as well, including her sister to my cousin.
My SIL and I were part of a good group of friends, prior to her even dating my brother. She’s also one of four girls and her family is super tight knit. Things didn’t begin to sour until her and her sister got pregnant with their first kids. I won’t get into all the details, and I’m not saying my family was perfect, but it quickly became apparent that interactions with their MILs were perceived as threats to their own mother and her role as ‘grandma’.
Things got steadily worse as the years passed for both sisters, their respective mother-in-laws, and husband’s families. My SIL’s sister was hacking her MILs email and her SILs messages. My SIL learned the word ‘boundaries’ and threw it around at any perceived slight, would secretly read her husbands messages, and insinuated my mom is a pedo. Both sisters were weaponizing Facebook to unfriend those they were mad at, all the while heavily vague-booking about the situation to paint themselves as the victims. Again, things progressed. My parents respected their DIL’s wishes and their grandkids grew to not really know them. Slowly, my brother was isolated from his relatives, his parents, his friends, his siblings. He made hard choices for the sake of his marriage, but also now admits he fell under her spell some too, and adapted some her toxic thinking.
My SIL has been in control this whole time. Those boundaries she wants to set, any reprimands she wants to hand out, any manipulation… she’s the mouthpiece and is very clear that she’s the one making the decisions to protect her family. She sent a big message to my parents recently and shortly thereafter, decided they were going to take a ‘break’ from my family (my parents, me and my husband, my siblings and their spouses). And the next thing I knew, my brother was in town, and he was a wreck. She had said she was divorcing him, out of the blue. She said she’d been cheating, that God said they weren’t married anymore, and so on. He accidentally overheard her say that she wanted him to take the kids for the weekend so she could do whatever she wanted with her new beau; and he walked in on her having phone sex with him.
On top of all of this, a while back, my brother and SIL decided to try alcohol and weed for the first time. While he didn’t fall down the rabbit hole, she did. Again won’t go into all the details of the trouble she got into, but it is relevant to add that she is a threat to herself and has had to be rescued off the bathroom floor a few times by family members. She also threatens to deliberately hurt herself when it suits her as well, which my brother has to take very seriously. She’s also a nurse.
Now to the point. My SIL has very carefully, intentionally, and successfully made herself to be the villain in our family. She holds all the cards, she makes up the rules. (And, note, there has never been any of this type of drama in my family or that of my relatives, until her and her sister married in. All other in laws and relationships are healthy and well-functioning). She has recently been reaching out to us, to my parents, pleading for them to do something. To reign in their son. She’s claiming he’s obsessed with her, he’s stalking her, that she doesn’t feel safe and ‘if they care for their grandchildren at all, they should do something’. She’s blaming him for bringing alcohol into their home and that ‘his abuse’ has driven her to drink. She’s reached out to me, to my cousins, to the former friends she’s pushed away. She’s sent similar messages to us all (sometimes randomly at 4am) that are honestly bizarrely phrased and not at all like her, promising that we’ll all get together for a party once this is behind her. Her sister is vague booking on her behalf, helping to shift the narrative and paint my brother as the villain.
I’m not diagnosing her, but my SIL is showing a lot of narcissistic tendencies and methods, so I’ve been learning more about that if only to have some sort of guidance and clarity on how to/not to engage and better understand motives and support my brother. Because this is wild. My brother has (legally) recorded their conversations and has proof from those and from text messages from his wife of her abuse, of her unfaithfulness. But she is waging war against him now, and we’re not sure what the catalyst was since again, this all came out of the blue. Once she flipped that switch, my brother was done and more willing to divorce than she was. However, she’s backtracked saying she never cheated. She’s attempting to blackmail him with intimate videos that she told my parents HE was using against HER. She’s reaching out to anyone and everyone to smear his name and make wild accusations. She’s claiming he’s the narcissist, he’s the one who has been in control their whole marriage. She told him she got a divorce lawyer AND a criminal one. From the recordings and screenshots he’s shared, he’s being very calm in their interactions, doesn’t take the bait, and now, when she reaches out and says she misses him, he gently reminds her that they are only to communicate through their lawyers. (For the sake of the kids, they’re still living in the same house but she has banished him to the basement).
Advice? How can we continue to help supporting my brother through the worst time in his life? (No, this is not my marriage. Maybe I’m too close, but ‘their friends’ are now ‘her friends’; over the past decade, I’ve rarely gotten involved but he always knew he could confide in me and that I would hold his secrets and respect their choices in the marriage even if I didn’t agree with them).
Fresh insight? How can he move forward through this smear campaign, protect the kids from getting involved/weaponized?

I am understanding a few things here, but having trouble putting it all together. Assuming I am ean employee (not independent contractor) of a US company and work remotely, I think I understand:

• If I am resident in Canada (meaning i reside in Canada for >183 days of the year and/or have other "significant residential ties") I have to pay tax in Canada on my worldwide income
• To the extent that I paid US taxes, I am entitled to a foreign tax credit on my Canadian tax return equal to the lesser of tax paid to the US, and the tax I would have paid on that same amount of income in Canada

First question - the above made sense to me, except for the fact that it seemed the IRS would potentially be getting all of my taxes (assuming the top-up to Canadian tax is not too significant). If I am resident in Canada, why should the IRS take all the tax revenue, given I benefit from Canadian infrastructure? Is this just how the tax treaties work or am I misunderstanding something?
Second question(s) - today I was told that US employers of Canadian residents actually have an obligation to set up Canadian payroll accounts, and withhold/remit payroll tax on salaries paid to Canadian resident employees. If a US employer does this, does the tax withheld still flow through my T1 as a foreign tax credit, or if not, how is it reported? And what (if anything) are the consequences to me if the employer does not withhold/remit taxes to CRA, and instead remits to IRS?

Alternately, How about the Osprey 9 for the Glock? This one says Piston not included (and I understand this is not rifle rated). Do I need to buy just the piston, or do I need a 'Mount' of sorts for it like the the Charlie ASR mount that comes with the Omega 36M.

I ask myself "would I enjoy doing this if I was alone?" If there was no proof that I made it with everything I do in life.
Sure I'm really generalizing it, but you know what I mean. It's beyond difficult because there will always be someone "better" than you, so you shouldn't try to compare yourself to that. Compare yourself to the yesterday you.
Easier said than done, but typing this is also convincing me the same as well.

I already have a sketch of Guardian Mayfly, a Guardian Shugod based on Gerojim, but I still have to color it. Anyways, I believe it will come out tomorrow. Anyways, now I'll talk about my ideas for Shugods based on Nagabajim and Amenjim. Now, unlike my other Shugod concepts, I really need help with some of these concepts because I don't know what to do with some aspects of the design.
Nagabajim:
When I first saw it on the Episode 11 preview, I wasn't sure if I wanted to make a Shugod out of her because she looked like she was based on a wasp, and we already have God Hachi. It turns out she is similar to Gundajim in that she is based on a more specific species of a type of insect. Rather than being based on the classic eusocial wasp/hornet, Nagabajim is based on the ichneumon wasp, specifically the members of the Rhyssinae subfamily which use their long ovipositor (a long tube that looks like a stinger) to drill through wood and lay eggs on wood-boring larvae. Now when looking at her design, the designers turned the ovipositor into a bomb-planting lance, and the rest of the design looks like a wasp fencer. It's only natural for an ichneumon wasp Shugod to turn into a lance. This one will be a partsformer whose abdomen can be removed from the body and straightened into a lance. The only problem though is...what happens to the body? Does it turn into an arm guard? Okay, it's a nice idea, but at the same time, I feel it could be better. I would like to hear words from the Super Sentai community on how this concept could be improved.
Amenjim:
He may be based on the "Jesus bug" and the Japanese name of this insect may have "Amen" in it, but this monster is no saint. Religious jokes aside, Amenjim has become my new favorite MOTW design. He's a water strider-themed warrior who can walk on water and bend water. He wields a lance that may reference a real water strider's proboscis, and he is also a kung-fu master, but...I don't get where that came from (Please tell me. Why is he a kung-fu master? Is it because the strider on his head kind of looks like the kanji for water? I don't get it.). Anyways, his kung-fu will not factor at all in this Shugod concept. This new Shugod will be the first to not turn into a handheld weapon. Instead this partsformer will turn into skis that can be attached to the bottoms of King-Ohger's feet, allowing him to literally skate on the water. But...this is where I need help. What happens to the long legs? I know they will detach from the body, but where will they go and why are they attached to King-Ohger? Maybe they could become hoses that can shoot water, but where will they be attached? Again, I need help with this concept. Thank you. Please write your suggestions in the comments.
Also to help improve these designs, I have to ask, when is partsforming bad? I ask because God Tonbo is a partsformer and no one has a problem with it, but partsforming seems to be a controversial thing among the transforming toy community. I also have issues with Tentou, Kumo, and Ant, but those are a discussion for another time.

Context time- Spent my whole career thus far in sales, no degree to speak of (about one year of undergrad) Through a series of events, I’ve been presented with the opportunity for schooling at no cost to me up to a masters level in Reykjavik. The path I think I’ve decided on (based on the classes that seem interesting to me) is the master’s in international business and project management.
Time for the question, what does someone with a degree like that do for work? I assume sales and sales management is still a viable option, but I think I’d like to steer away from sales if at all possible.
