I am looking to buy a property and have limited it down to a couple, with my solicitor looking over the paperwork of one.
The other has a HM Land Registry exerpt that states the following:
A Conveyance on Sale of the land comprised in this title and that tinted pink on the filed plan dated 27 June 1884 made between (1) PERSON A of PLACE A, (Vendor) and (2) PERSON B of PLACE B, (Purchaser) contains a covenant by the Purchaser of which the following is a copy:The Purchaser hereby covenants with the Vendor that he the Purchaser his heirs or assigns will not at any time use or suffer to be used the said piece of land or any building at any time standing thereon for any trade or manufacture AND will not erect or suffer to be erected on the said piece of land any building unless the same be a lodge or other building to be used or occupied with the dwellinghouse standing upon the said piece of land and that no second dwellinghouse shall be erected upon the said piece of land AND FURTHER will not at any time erect or suffer to be erected any stable or coachhouse on that part of the said piece of land which lies between the points marked respectively E B-C F on the said plan the said points E and F being in a line with the boundary fence on the south west side of the property on the opposite side of the ROAD Road aforesaid known as "NAME" And that until the tithe rent charge shall be legally reapportioned the Purchaser his heirs or assigns shall pay to the Vendor his heirs or assigns the yearly sum of 5s. in respect of such tithe rent charge AND that the Purchaser his heirs or assigns will maintain a good and sufficient close fence between the points marked A and B and between the points marked B and C on the said plan.
The documents come with a map that has a large area shaded in pink and the property that I'm looking to buy with a red outline inside the larger area (but not shaded pink). Areas in pink on the document contain a couple of buildings.
My questions are: 1. Is the owner of the property (potentially me) the Vendor in this situation? And if so, does that mean that the land owner who owned the house years ago sold the land/freehold of that land to other parties?

1. The land outlined by the point references affects a small corner of the house and mostly affects another building next door. Would I be prevented from building anything within that or is it just the people who own the land in pink?
   
2. If the restrictions are on the purchasers and not me as the vendoowner, are they allowed to build or do anything without consent?
   
3. The fact that the title references the sold land and covenants, would the owner of the house hold the freehold for that land?
   

Sorry, I know this is a weird one, I will get a solicitor to look over, but if there are concerns, I'd rather not waste my time and instead, go for the other property.

We've been together in a relationship over 3 years, I (31 m) her (24 f) have hit a major lull. She's had epilepsy since she was 8 and hadn't really experienced life outside of the house do to the risk of seizures. 3 years later we've taken cross country vacations, upper scale restaurants, all paid for by me. She's been fighting with the State for disability but has been denied even with a lawyers help. Around the 2nd year mark, things like physical contact, kissing, hugging, hand holding and sex has been lacking from her. I really don't like cuddling in bed cuz of the heat under her blanket, but I make an effort to try and spoon with her (without sex in mind) to show her affection. She says she likes it for the 5 minutes I can stand the heat. We used to be very affectionate towards each other even in public, but she's changed. I don't know what to really do anymore, I can feel my happiness slipping away. Like the title says am I in a relationship or been turned into friends? I feel like I should go on my own, but I can't afford an apartment with the current rent prices, or find a place that accepts xl dogs. I know from looking at places together. So… this is gonna be a bit of a weird one. I’m looking for some advice.
The short version: I have a CI mom and I’m 30 years old. I moved out at age 23 because of many factors (financial instability, mental illness, etc.) and have been on my own since. We are still in touch, but it’s on my terms and I grey rock her. I schedule our phone calls and I generally text her back within ~24-48 business hours. She hates it and wants to talk nonstop and crawl inside of my skin, but she deals with it (and guilt trips me about it, lol).
I’ve been renting the same house for 7 years and I want to finally buy a home. My paternal grandpa passed away about a year ago and left me his money because my dad, uncle, and paternal grandmother are all deceased. My grandpa was a very modest blue collar man who worked a menial job and was a WWII veteran (medic) who became disabled in the war. He left me everything - 40k.
However…. He left it in a TRUST. The trust ends when I am 35 years old (FUCKING INSANE). I will be 31 in two months. Guess who the trustee is? Yep. My CI mom.
She’s refusing to allow me to use 30k of the trust as a down payment on a home. I’ve done my research. I trust my realtor; he is a friend of a friend and has sold to many people within my immediate queetrans community here in my city. The home for sale is ACROSS THE STREET from my home I’ve rented for 7 years. It’s a dream come true.
I get free legal advice through my insurance (very oddly specific and relevant perk) - I called and am waiting for them to call me back. I’m speaking with a financial advisor as well. He agrees that my mom is being unreasonable. He manages my mom’s money, but her account is separate from mine and he cannot call her up to discuss this trust and advise her against her decision. He said that if I can persuade HER into calling HIM about it, then he can tell her she’s being a nutjob.
PS: in January she promised me that I could use 8k from it for my upcoming top surgery if insurance doesn’t cover it, but now I’m not so sure about that either.

Everything is getting more expensive by the month. Housing cost (buying or renting) is crazy compared to median income and to almost every other country, same with groceries which are getting crazy expensive since covid. Cars are obviously expensive because of fees and taxes, Public transport is trash and practically everything else like electronics or hobby related things are more expensive since we import almost everything and have high taxes. To top it all we have high taxes (income tax, health tax, bituah leumi, VAT 17%, property tax, high taxes on cars alcohol and such) that most of the working population does not benefit from and I wont go into politics. To top it all we have mandatory army (Which is not mandatory for some people) of 2-3 years and high education isn't costly as in America but also not free as in Europe, And the school education system is not a highlight in our country. Oh, And I almost forgot about the Yearly operations/wars/terrorist attacks/rockets. Most of these are preventable, we are getting price gouged like crazy, the government literally diluted our money by printing money like crazy, they propped up the prices of everything by setting the interest rate to 0 and loans were practically free, Of course people will snatch homes even in 2M shekels when there is almost no financial repercussion of the debt. People are already calling for lowering the Interest rate which would raise inflation again. Im sick to the stomach how everything in this country is a fucking struggle, And the worst part of it is that the government is busy in dividing us against each other and we are busy for almost 30 weeks protesting both sides about some "Reform" how about we fucking reform this country for real to benefit everyone. There are ways to do it and there are countries that successfully do it.

My neighbor was recently diagnosed with cancer and is in and out of the hospital. At this time, she has 14 cats in her house. All are well cared for, but she has agreed to adopt out some. I know that the rescues are full and we live in a small town in south central KS with few options. Would anyone be able to point me in the direction of help or want to adopt? About to go on a 9-monther. I rent a house for $1300/month (including utilities) that I really really like, my landlord is great and the house suits my needs perfectly. But $11,700 is a lot of money and currently I’m intending to break my lease for the deployment.

I was lucky enough to buy a house at auction, cash, earlier this year. This pretty much wiped out my savings but the house needs something like $70k put into it, even with me doing 90% of the work myself.
I make a decent amount of money, but I needed a pretty large lump of money now, in order to speed up the renovation and to stop paying rent. So, I actually started looking at the credit cards offers I get. In the last month, through 3 cards, I've totalled up something like $40k of 0% apr due between 18 and 21 months from now. Saved!
Then, from my bank, I received an offer for 0% apr cash advance on two of my cards for 12 months. Boom. $25k more cash in the bank. This is even more useful than the cards since most of construction is cash.
I should be easily able to pay this off when it's due, but the further out, the better. Any ideas on moving these due dates out? Balance transfer cards?

My workplace isn’t letting me take a two months personal leave to study full time for the remaining time until the exam. They can meet me halfway and have me use 2 vacation days per week using my accrued PTO, and more should accrue by the time July comes around that I can maybe lower my work hours even more.
The benefit would be to have my consistent paycheck coming in. Which is nice since my wife and I closed and moved into a house, with our first mortgage payment coming due in July, and it’s a lot more than we previously paid while renting.
She supports me with either decision I take.
My two options are: Quit and get my PTO paid out, or go part time and work 24 hours per week.
I do do some of my studying / watching lectures while working but I want to be able to focus entirely on this exam. Thoughts?

I find myself in a difficult situation and could really use your advice. I have a tenant who was supposed to pay rent on June 1st. It's now June 6th, and I still haven't received the payment.
Here's the situation: This tenant is planning on moving out early claiming July or August and has already paid an agent fee and a security deposit at a new location. She 'assumes' that I will simply collect her rent from her security deposit. To make matters worse, she promised to give a check on the 3rd of June, but she did not follow through on this. Today, she informed me that her bank account is currently frozen due to a large payment she recently made.
While I understand that financial difficulties can occur, this is causing a fair amount of stress for me, especially because I have another tenant in the basement who she could potentially complain about.
What should I do in this case? How do I handle a tenant who isn't paying rent and making promises they don't keep? I would appreciate any advice or insights from those who have had similar experiences or have knowledge about tenant-landlord issues. I'm a family man and now the burden in making mortgage payments will fall on me, plus months without tenants until I secure one. I just bought the house last summer and finished the renovation in the winter.

I apologize that this may be a long post but I want to paint the full picture here. I became a single mom of 2 under 4 last year. My divorce is about to be finalized (I currently live in a state where you have to be separated for a year to file) and im trying to figure out what to do.
I moved to the east coast 4 years ago to follow my ex in the military. I have absolutely no family here. I now work full time after being a SAHM for two years. I had to get my own place because the rooms I was renting the house is being sold. I am now barely making it by financially. My kids dad doesn’t pay child support other than daycare because we have 50/50 custody, every other week.
My issue is all the debt I have racked up over the years of being the only one with good credit in our relationship. And unfortunately they’re all in my name. I pay over 1k a month to loans and credit cards. In the next month or two my ex will be leaving the service, meaning we will lose all military based daycare and insurance. This means we now have to pay more out of pocket and he wants me to help. I will not be able to afford it.
My dilemma now is what to do. I have the option to move back home with my mom to the west coast and she wouldn’t charge me rent and help with the kids. Then maybe I can save money and pay off my debts. But my hesitation is that the job I’m currently at is paying for my school so I can finish my bachelors degree. Fully paid. If I leave, I give up that. I’ve looked into transferring to another location as they are for the most part country wide but the west coast has significantly less options due to only having 7 locations state wide. If I even found a position to transfer to I would be commuting at least an hour to work because I live in a smaller town.
But if I stay here I feel like I won’t make it long financially. My savings are depleting. The kids dad also wants to leave the state so if he leaves I will get child support but I’ll be with the kids full time here with no support at all plus paying for daycare for two kids would basically take up all he gives me.
I don’t know what to do. Should I move for the support and give up the free school?
I’ve also thought about moving to a state closer to my family that has more locations for me to transfer too but even though they’d be closer it would still be 5-7 hour drive and I’d have to find daycare for the kids.
I’m just at a loss and so stressed out. I feel like if I give up school I’ll never be able to make a better salary but I also cannot afford to be here on my own for long.
What would you do? It feels like a year after becoming a single mom I’m more stressed than I was when we first split up.

Some info: I am 39, autistic, and was forced out of my home last year and had to move in with a friend. That part sucked but I got over it. Hi all,
A month ago my wife had a psychotic break (paranoid delusions, hallucinations) and she has since disappeared, cut off all means of communication, and has left me with all the debt.
We are both 45 and had just graduated an MA program in 2022 and opened a business together, which was just starting to get off the ground. Our relationship was good, and we had a vision for the future. In April we had a couple of arguments and in the second argument, she took off to a friends’ house in the states (we live in Canada). There she apparently used drugs, and went missing for a spell, and left alarming text messages to me and others, indicating that she’d lost contact with reality. She recovered somewhat and returned home, but quickly started saying things like my aura is big and dangerous, and then she went to another friend’s house. Communication with her was sparse, but she seemed sort of herself, though once in a while she’d say something that made me realize she was still having difficulty sorting reality from hallucination. Little by little, she cut off all communication (Facebook, WhatsApp, phone, email, etc) and has left me with all the debt. Our debt is considerable, since it consists of personal expenses while at school, business start up, as well as her plane tickets in and out of the states while she wasn’t well, all her electronics, etc., plus rent and the car. We weren’t quite breaking even when she had this break, and I’m having tremendous difficulty now.
I believe she has again moved down into the states. She’s from the states originally. She doesn’t respond to any form of communication.
Am I just saddled with all the debt? Please help. Thank you.
