To give some context, my boyfriend (20m) and I (19f) have been long distance dating for over a year now. There have been several times when we were scheduled to meet up, but work or school responsibilities constantly got in the way. Plus, I was briefly hospitalised. However, I do have plans to travel to go see him within the next month.
To the point: I've never been a huge fan of sending nudes, mostly because I have insecurity issues and have had bad experiences with an ex who have threatened to leak them and it just wasn’t a good time to say the least.
My boyfriend has consistently stepped outside of his comfort zone since we started dating and has sent me several pictures, which I love but don't feel confident reciprocating. Around 2 weeks ago, after a fight, I had to send him a picture or two because he had gotten upset and said it wasn't fair, so in a sense, I felt obligated to do so.
They weren't too scandalous; all I did was pull my pants down and reveal some cleavage. Do I regret it? Yes. But according to him, it's about time since we've been dating for a while.
Yesterday, I was having an extremely difficult day due to my severe anemia, which made me feel really sick so I stayed in bed all day, along with the daily bullying I experience from my family, which somehow got worse yesterday. Despite being aware of this, my boyfriend continued asking me to send him nudes. I promised him I would once I got over my tiredness, but he kept asking.
I finally had enough and told him to just ask me tomorrow when I might not feel so bad but he said that he was sexually frustrated and needed something from me because I wasn't satisfying him in that way, and it was then immediately my fault. He ended up staying silent as I cried myself to sleep out of frustration. We usually sleep on the phone as well, but when I woke up this morning, he was gone. An hour later, he texted me saying we needed to talk about last night and I’m scared that he’s going to break up with me.
I know it's hard because we're long distance, but the constant pressure to send nudes just burns me out.
I'm not sure if he's being an asshole or if his point is entirely valid and that I just need to get over my emotions.
I’m also not sure if this is just a guy thing or not because I would be just fine if he wasn’t comfortable sending me nudes which I never asked for but nonetheless, it’s completely respectable.
If anyone could perhaps give their opinion, that would be great. thanks.

Hey all! I'm a relatively new DM (1 campaign with 26 sessions, another one on session 4). I'm wrapping up my first campaign and getting towards a conclusion. My players are 6th level and party comp is a Druid, Warlock, Paladin, and Monk. I've a very generous DM Santa so they all have +2 weapons, and their ACs are 14, 15, 18, and 19, and their HPs are 57, 45, 58, and 39. Further, my warlock has an attack-capable imp companion, and my monk has a pet dire wolf. I know for a fact that their final battle will be against a single Blue Dragon in its lair. I think that a Young Dragon (CR9) will be too easy, but I'm worried that and Adult Dragon (CR16) will be too hard. I want to make the last battle challenging, obviously, so I'm leaning towards the Adult. Will I kill my players?
Should I homebrew a Young Adult Dragon and aim for CR 10-12? Should I do the Young Dragon (CR9) and also have it's main servant (magic caster, CR7) in the battle, who also has legendary actions. What should I do?

23f and drink like 1-2 times a week but get blacked out every time. I'm so ashamed of myself because when I do that, I do things i normally wouldn't do like, message people i don't know, download dating apps and stuff. ah. I've known i've had a problem since last year in January, I drank so much that i blacked out on the couch and my boyfriend had to move me to the bed.. but i must've threw up while laying on my back and he had to save me, he heard me choking from the other room.

Literally have never seen HBO mess up so bad and on this scale.
They gave the keys of their one of the most expensive shows to The Weekend who is a good musician but clearly has no idea of how to create or run a show and as if that wasn't bad enough they brought in Sam Levinson who admittedly can shoot a picture well and can do some cool tricks with camera but has no idea how to write a good story and how to construct a good narrative.
Maybe the GOT finale was not just a one off thing and HBO exces are getting more and more complacent.

I've been with Ingram since 2003 or 2004, somewhere around there. We purchased small quantities of products and in 2012 we expanded, grew and started doing easily 50k a month in sales for wholesaling with Ingram.
We noticed in 2015 they started going down hill in their support, customer service and their microsoft support as well. Not uncommon you call up any number and you could hear chickens, scooters and yelling in the background causing all kinds of grief. Tech support was trash and we wouldn't hear from anyone for weeks at a time. Eventually we had to ask for a resolution spread sheet to determine when a ticket was put in and when it actually got addressed and resolved. It was WEEKS. So...
In 2020 we moved our Microsoft to Pax8.
In 2022 we moved out AWS to Pax8. ( lot of fighting for no reason at all )

And now Adobe. We have a couple dozen clients on Adobe and are satisfied with the product but then AGAIN Ingram is the problem. They are literally losing orders. Not just oh we forgot, but complete disappearances of orders.

In one of our clients:
2 orders placed in March, CHARGED to our Credit Card (I hate terms) and paid in full. We have the receipts, the PO and the invoice.... and you log in today and the licenses aren't even there like they expired and failed to renew. Contacted Ingram and they have NO RECORD at all of a PO, email etc. I had to SEND the rep the info and they wanted to CHARGE ME AGAIN for something I already paid for. I have the receipts, the bank statements and the "FUFILLMENT" invoice, yet, poof like a fart in the wind.

I NEED:
A new adobe wholesaler. I can no longer tolerate Ingram, their violent level of incompetence and their inability to fulfill any order. I've reached out to the reseller helpdesk and they just recommend I contact the wholesaler again, problem is, I have done that so many times but nothing happens.
I need to speak to an Adobe Executive, a different wholesaler or buy direct from adobe with reseller pricing but I want out of Ingram.

I was supposed to be drug tested prior to employment today, but the hospital’s system was down and it has been for a long time due to a cyber attack anyways because of that I couldn’t get the test done what do I do?

So I am a case manager rn. I have very little pt contact, just 1 assessment/yr. I assess their home and ensure that their caregivers are caring for them. Anything beyond that, my answer is take them to the dr, cause it's basically beyond my job. I have worked or, pacu, peds, and infusion so I always kept up my pals and bls. However, it is not needed for this job and they won't pay for recertification (hospital always paid before) Should I pay out of pocket to keep my cert up, or let it go and I can get recertification later? Is it difficult to get it again if you let it go?

It’s a little background info I’m 5’1 F 33 SW 164.4(but I was on my period and bloated) CW 151.8 GW 135. I took my 5th dose on Sunday. So far my side effects have been pretty mild nausea, burps, hiccups, and some fatigue, but not crazy. What I can’t seem to muster is the motivation to work out I almost feel weak. I don’t count calories or macros but I’m sure to get 30 g of protein via shakes each day, and I also eat a lot of chicken breast and protein chickpea pasta. I don’t think I’m under the calories I should be allowing myself based on my portions in the fact that I do still use butter and olive oil. I also do allow myself to have a scoop of ice cream at night.

So I’m working on a game where you play as a dead child making their way through the afterlife. Along the way they meet various souls with some kind of trauma that they have to help heal from. Every soul wears a mask, a cloak, and broach, and the designs of each of these characters reflects theirs life, but also their trauma. For instance, the child who was bullied liked to hide in the woods, and was eventually killed out there, so she wears a mask of wood with branches. The woman who was isolated her entire life became fascinated with space as it’s also so isolated, so her mask is the crescent moon. I currently have seven of eight of these souls designed, at least in concept. I don’t need an eighth souls per-say, but I like even numbers. I was a bit stuck on what kind of trauma I could represent, and eventually I came up with military trauma. Now I just need a design. I can get the cloak and broach, but I have no idea what to do for a mask. Is there anything involved with the military that could be converted to a simple mask? Any shape is alright, as long as it’s relatively simple. The design of the game is reminiscent of Earthbound/Undertale type games, so I’m pretty restricted in details. Any other ideas for souls are welcome! The current list is abandonment, bullying, isolation, problems at home (focus on laughing through the pain), pressure to succeed, addiction, and depression.

Hi guys! Long story short, I purchased a brand new house for about $204K. Worth mentioning that the mortgage was below of my previous rent. The APR was 3.4%. For the down payment of 3.5%, I borrowed it from my 401K.
I was working full-time, relatively well-paid (had a $300 car payment) & single.
Then, I decided to lease a brand new car (all well within my means at the time and really, a goal/dream of mine). Big mistake:
Then life happens: - had a major health setback - Salary cut in half (disability) - Parents came (from another country) to “take care of me” - Then I had to pay flight tickets, increased costs with food, electricity, etc
At the year, major health set back again: - Increased costs - Parents were back to the States - lots of treatment were performed in the beginning of the year, aka, had not met the insurance deductible so I had to pay for everything - Probably over 15 weeks at home (=1/2 salary)
I started adding “everything” to my credit cards. I thought to myself that I would “catch up” once I was back to working full time. It did not happen & I lost my job right before COVID.
After that, worked as a contractor here and there but for short periods of time.

• Now I am married. No plans for kids.
• 401K (a): $108,000(“saved” before marriage)
• 401K (b): ~$4000 (after marriage)
• The car has 67 payments left of $570 (4.9% APR - pay off = $31K). I had to purchase a car because of work which didn’t workout. I got stuck the debt. Barely use the car!
• The house MAY be worth about $400K (maybe more, maybe less)
• The house has ~$167,000 left to be paid off.
• I have been able to pay, with savings, a few bills, and my car.
• I help my family with $500/month.

Situation today:

• My wife had been paying the mortgage, utilities, bills
• Her car is paid off
• Not sure of her 401K (she gets vested stocks)
• She is willing to help (use 401K ?)
• I have $0 income. It has been almost a year & I am getting nothing.
• I will definitely have a 3rd spinal surgery (at 40years old) in the next weeks (4? 5?)
• Meanwhile, I need PT, special treatments that are out of pocket & I end up using the credit cards.

I HAVE ~$40,000 in CREDIT CARD DEBT. Is there a way out??

• Get a job (I am trying but with all doctors appts, and scheduling, and trips, I haven’t been as diligent as I could).
• Use my 401K??
• Or my wife’s? (She is able to borrow from it)
• Sell the house and move somewhere cheaper (the market may crash anyways)

Hi! I did 6 semesters at Douglas for an associates of science degree before transferring to SFU to complete a BSC of environment. As I work through my first semester here at SFU I thought I’d share some of the differences I’ve noticed between the two schools! Please feel free to add any advice or questions!
The campus is large but you still only get 10 minutes between classes (which isn’t enough depending on where you need to go.) Surprisingly, it’s a lot less stairs though! There’s an app that you can download to show you where your classes are on a map.
Classes are normally 50 minutes and 3x a week, and not the 1:50 2x like they are at Douglas. Kinda nice but also frustrating because the time goes by so quickly! It also means there’s less time for questions, and there’s no breaks in classes.
Classes are much larger than at Douglas. Say goodbye to your prof knowing your name. You’ll have a lot more contact with TA’s in both lecture and tutorial. If you have questions about the content of the class, you’re better off talking to a TA than the prof. They’ll reply faster.
Shorter classes means that lecture often consists of the prof going over example problems, and having you study the lecture content on your own. I’ve noticed this for classes like Calc, Chem, and Physics.
They use Canvas instead of blackboard. It’s nicer than blackboard but lots of information can get lost between the multiple menus and modules. Teachers also require online materials a lot more than Douglas, and sometimes more than one paid subscription is required for each class. You can still find lots of textbooks online though!
Almost all my classes use iclicker. It’s like kahoot but less fun and used for impromptu quizzes or in class polls. I don’t believe you have to pay to use it. You also don’t need to buy the physical remote for it. It does mean that you’ll need a phone or laptop with reliable internet for your class. Assignments are also submitted through crowdmark.
There’s many options for seating on campus but honestly lots of the places to sit are uncomfortable. Somehow most of the tables are too far away from the chairs or benches so you can’t comfortably sit and write.
Desks in classes are often lecture style seating with the half size folding desks. Chairs on the edge of the aisle should have a left handed table. You can fit either a notebook or a computer on it and not much else. There’s not a lot of outlets in the theatre lecture halls, so charge your computer before class.
The Tim Hortons on campus kinda sucks compared to the one at Douglas. There is a dining hall that for $15-20~ you can get all you can eat. The food itself is good quality, but the flavors are kinda bland and lacking.
The student store on campus is a lot more expensive than at Douglas. But there’s a wider variety of merch & high end supplies.
The dr’s clinic is so nice to have on campus. You can walk in to schedule an appointment and you’ll usually be seen the same week! They also have a psychologist on staff who is really nice. Visits are covered by MSP. You do need to be a student though.
Cell service sucks, so beware.
There’s pianos everywhere on campus. Think you found somewhere good to study? Nope! Someone is gonna play “Still D.R.E” for an hour straight. Once they finally leave someone else will take their place and play Fur Elise! Avoid the pianos. Don’t be a dick and play longer than 5 minutes tops. Please
The Gosfu system is different from MyAccount. You also have to manually check that classes meet your degree requirements when planning your schedule. I miss MyPath 🥲. Advisors are helpful in telling you what semester a class will be offered.
The SFU discord is the best place to find group chats for classes. Almost every single course has a dedicated discord. Super helpful! If you don’t have a discord, get one.
Exams are often worth +50% of your final grade. They also often are done out of the normal class time. Final exams can also occur on the weekends

I decided not to get paid out the lump sum to avoid taxes and penalties.
If I keep it at my former employer, it will be growing 3.8%+ or higher ever year (won't go below 3.8%). No fees involved.
I am able to move it to my current employer's 401k if I wanted to.
I don't want to create a new trad Roth to move it into as it would create a back door roth issue later with the pro rata rule.
I'm thinking long term to move it to my 401k and let it grow due to potential of higher returns and also I can touch it earlier (59 1/2 versus 65 years old).
Just wanted other opinions as well.

I see a man everyday in the city centre shouting Jesus love you holding a pamphlet. What is he trying to do is he insane or is he getting paid by someone to do that. Really cant get my head over why someone would do that for hours

I have recently started taking care of my mom, she’s 60 and has some medical issues. My last apartment the owner didn’t mind her staying with me without any background check or her even being on the lease. Due to certain circumstances, we had to move states and me and my partner have been looking for apartments and constantly getting denied. We thought it was cause of an old eviction he had 5 years ago but that was paid off, but today I found out it wasn’t his. It was one my mom had and never said anything. She has a 4000 eviction and I have no clue what to do. We’re in need of a place asap but we can find anything with her cause if it. I need a place before the end of the summer.

i 18f broke up with my ex 18m four months ago and i regret it every single day. i didn't quite understand myself, when i was with him, i doubted my feelings and sometimes thought that i couldn't continue liking him but now that we're not together i feel attracted to him... when we were dating, my feelings were on and off tapos when we're apart my attraction for him is suddenly stronger and i miss him so much to this day.
i didn't date him to experiment on my feelings! our feelings were mutual and for eight months, it was bliss but i took it for granted. i wanted him back but i realized that i have attachment issues. the reason why ive been avoiding intimacy or his attempts to get close to me were because of issues i've had growing up. my friend who goes to therapy introduced me to avoidant attachment, which is apparently something that stems from my upbringing.
i miss him so much hahaha when night comes, i think of who to tell my day about and i think of him. but obviously i can't. and i recently realized that he no longer has feelings for me :) we stopped talking and when we do his replies are short and cold, it's that or he doesn't reply at all. so i gave up trying to stay friends with him. he's tired of me. good for him, i prefer this over him still entertaining me. thank God he gave up on me. i don't think i can fall for anyone as much as i did for him because no one can replace him, and if i do i have to remind myself that i can't pursue romantic relationships with anyone until i get professional help. I'm so sad i don't know what to do but cry, go about my day, and pretend like everything is okay.
fortunately, this abrupt introduction to attachment issues started to make things make sense for me. it took me some time to accept the fact that i couldn't start romantic relationships with anyone because of this and i don't know how to fix this issue. my resources are limited for an incoming first year college student so i can't afford therapy. after a dispute with my dad, he decided to look for a therapist, but that was because i admitted to attempting suicide before. i was at my lowest and i just stopped looking forward to whatever tomorrow brought, i still think this way but i think i've gotten better for not crying as often as i did.
i can't seem to make the right choices, can't think of the right words, can't keep people close so they leave. i don't know what to look forward to anymore. all of this feels as if it's a burden to those around me. no one asks how i'm doing, but when they do they would never understand so i pretend i'm okay instead. at least i know you care, it makes me feel a lot better being able to get this off my chest. i refrain from ending it all even just a little bit.

Many years ago, I did a key for a Dodge that had been sitting for awhile in a customers backyard. I made the key, programmed it (cuts and pin was from prior history so only programming was done on car). Got paid and then was hanging around in my van around front on the phone with another customer to see a plume of smoke rising up behind the house. Walking back I see a distraught owner running around as the dodges engine bay is now starting to go up in flames. We where able to get it put out with a water hose thankfully (nothing else available).
They originally tried to say I programmed the key wrong and caused the fire. Yes, you read that correctly. I had to inform them several times it does not work like that. I guess they sent it somewhere and had it investigated. They eventually apologized to me about the accusations and let me know it was a shorted wire for the starter that ignited some gas that had leaked around the area.
I don't generally crank cars that have been sitting for awhile, and even will get permission before turning the switch to ON if its had any work done. I will just make the key, program it and get paid. I don't want the liability if they do not check the oil and blow the motor etc... This was a good example for me of why its a good practice to let people crank up their own cars.

What are some of the things you have been accused damaging after a simple key make job?

We already have the tax free childcare, and we want to know how we get the 30 hour free childcare code? Will this come through automatically in an email, or on the secure messages? We need this to start in September, and are worried that we're running out of time already to get this sorted as nursery have been asking if we have the code yet?
Hope this makes sense to someone, it doesn't to me! Haha
