2023.06.06 17:23 Ruptnest345 Two week summary

Ive made it two weeks without PMO. I wanted to share my experience with this. For one, Im still horny and I still have the same old cravings. Theres more energy but this really just means Im more likely to get things done. Its not like I drank 4 cups of coffee. I feel less shameful yes but it more like I have and Im learning how to master something which has boosted self-esteem and confidence. Loosing and removing a lot of influence from my electronic devices has helped tremendously with this. Generally I am happier but its not like a blinding burst of light breaking through the clouds and getting super powers. Im more social and flirty which comes along with oogling at women and ironically without the shame of doing so.
I generally have morning wood but then I have to pee. The morning are the toughest not to PMO, MO, or just M. Im not walking around with a chubby all the time which makes me think that this is some sort of flatline or God's assistance to keep me going. I miss that the most.
Its all been pretty positive. I just miss the sexual passion. I want to express that side of myself most of all.
Generally I feel Im on the right path.

2023.06.06 17:19 KalashVegan Not Necessarily Fasting But:

Hello, I guess under some circumstance I am in a fast. Currently in a fasting state of water and coffee. Is there any downside of having a cup of coffee in the morning, and only in the morning alongside of having water throughout the day. I feel as if many videos and articles contradict eachother on this topic. So I'd rather hear it from people who have first hand experiences. I know our bodies may be different, but sure there is some similarities (:
Also after a certain amount of weightloss how do you maintain that weight without ruining your metabolism? I've always opted for a calorie deficit, what are your stats?

2023.06.06 17:17 loveevolloveevol Date scheduled, I’m trying to control my nerves lol

So I’ve been talking to this girl online for about a week now. We are going on a date this weekend. Planning on meeting up for a drink, and then going to her place to watch a movie and make food together. I know normally you don’t go to peoples house the first date but we’ve talked on the phone once, and since we are meeting in public first I don’t feel uncomfortable about it. So our conversations have been really nice! She’s really funny and goofy, but also really sweet. We’ve been mildly flirting and both have said we thing the other is gorgeous etc. I’m just so nervous. She is like GORGEOUS guys, like a dream tbh. And her personality is just amazing. Idk I am just really anxious bc I haven’t been on a date or even been physical with a girl in a while and she is just so sexy and beautiful that it’s making me more nervous lol. We talked about that a bit and I told her I’m a little nervous and she said she is too and said that it’s really sweet that I am. I also just not sure what to expect as far as what can happen. I don’t want to rush into sex or anything bc it would be amazing to let our feelings grow first and be more comfortable with each other. But I am definitely not against kissing and stuff.. even just thinking about it happening is just like oh my gosh 😳😳😳. I feel like I’ll melt into a puddle or something. Some of our conversations we’ve mentioned laying next to each other and cuddling during a movie and how she’d love to wake up to make me coffee in the morning.. so idk I’m hopeful about things thus far 💕
Anyways I’m just looking for some moral support and whatever advice you guys have lol

2023.06.06 17:17 echoCashMeOusside My character tier list

My character tier list
I wanted to create a comprehensive character ranker for the subreddit that included more characters; but, apparently, you need a Twitter account to do that and well... meh. The template used in the original tier list post from yesterday seemed to be the best so I used it, also. So if anyone creates one, share it! I just really, really wanted to jump on this bandwagon and it seemed like a perfect thing to do while waking up with my morning coffee.

Alt: Superior Rank: Angela, Arastoo, Brennan, Caroline, Jack, Max, Tutti. Pretty good rank: Avalon, Beth Mayer, Cam, Fisher, Gordon-Gordon, Zack. You're OK rank: Clark, Daisy, Karen, Russ, Sweets, Vincent-Nigel Murray. Meh rank: Aubrey, Fuentes, Jered Booth, Jessica Warren, Michelle. Wouldn't mind if they died TBH rank: Booth, Finn, Oliver Wells, Wendell. Dead to me rank: Empty
I really struggled to actually hate any character enough to put them in the "Dead to me" row so I just left it empty instead of deleting it.

2023.06.06 17:08 Round_Click_9118 First bit of stool is always hard / difficult to pass, then rest is soft. Anyone else experience this?

As the title says. I've been making adjustments to my diet and started taking probiotics and supplements. I am now more or less regular (once per day) and my stools are nice and soft except for the first little bit that comes out is still rock hard and sets off all my issues again. Has anyone else experienced this?
Here is what I'm doing that seems to help:
Any suggestions appreciated. Thank you!

2023.06.06 17:07 topy00 What are your thoughts on my morning routine?

I have done this morning routine consistently for the past month and each time i do it i become happy and motivated for the day.
I have no problem with my morning routine, except that I have to sleep by 8:30 pm so I can sleep early enough to leave for school, and that I'm worried that sometime in the future I won't be able to do it.
I'm just gonna copy and paste the routine written on my notepad:
10 mins to wake up
turn on pedometer Pee Weigh myself Open spotify Morning vitamins Drink a 750ml of water Fill all water bottles
Floss teeth Betadine mouthwash Wash face with warm water Shave (if you want) Face Skin care routine Apply sunscreen Apply vaseline to eyebrows Brush lips Put deoderant 23.6 minutes
Spray perfume Clean arms of the glasses with tissue Clean lens Brush teeth Apply vaseline
Meditate for 15 minutes
Heat up water for coffee Make breakfast
Make coffee
Eat breakfast and drink coffee
And to put this into perspective, I'm gonna say the tasks that take me the longest. They are: "make breakfast" (most of the time i just make scrambled eggs and put it into a tortilla), "face skincare routine", "clean lens", and "meditate"
The only one i would say that is kind of redundant is "clean arms of the glass with tissue". I find all of these tasks somewhat necessary/good for me.
I'm posting this here just to see the opinions of other people and see what i can refine. If you have read this far, thank you very much for your time and I would really appreciate your opinion on this.

2023.06.06 17:05 tanyalovesfood How much coffee (or caffine in any form) do you consume? And why?

I would like to know how much caffeine do you consume, and how important it is to you. Do you drink coffee just to wake yourselves up in the morning, or go for multiple cups per day? Also, how much does caffeine affect you and how?
Personally, I drink black coffee (instant) when I need to stay awake for a long time, like, if I am working on a project and I am near the deadline. Sometimes I drink a flavoured instant coffee with almond milk in the morning, if I wake up late and do not want to cook breakfast.
I'd also like to know how do you make your coffee? Are there any coffee enthusiasts who make there own filter coffee?
If you are into instant, try Blueberry Chocolate Mocha by Columbian Brew (gif). And please stop buying Nescafe, because FuckNestle.

2023.06.06 16:51 peysbf Can anyone help me find the products for my coffee?

Every day I get an iced coffee with liquid sugar cream and caramel. Does anyone know where I can find the exact products that Dunkin uses? I'm tired of stopping there every morning and want to know if I can make the same coffee at home. (I know I can buy those items anywhere but I'm just looking for what Dunkin uses in particular.) Thanks.

2023.06.06 16:49 Shitelark What is your Eddington Number?

Last week I did the Ride London 100 miles event. This was my 6th time doing the event and 8th Imperial century overall. I have also ridden over 100km 29 times.
There is something called an Eddington number which measures the distance you have covered in a day for a certain number of days. So for example my E No. in km is 75; I have ridden at least 75km x 75 times. I realised this year that there is no point riding 80km total to improve my Eddington, I could be trying to ride 100km more often and achieve a Century of Century.
I know pros and the very keen amongst you will be out hitting multiple centuries every sunday morning before coffee and cake. But it isn't always that easy finding time and motivation. Thanks to the guy that posted his Lake Geneva ride I am planning my first overseas Imperial Century.

2023.06.06 16:42 AppointmentEqual8456 My kind of disaster birthday

I(20F now) had planned a whole birthday party for myself this Sunday and I had invited friends and family to Chilis because I haven't been and all. It was suppose to be a total of 10 people. I even $50 of cupcakes. I had gotten there early with my girlfriend(19f) so that no one would have to sit and wait. When 5 pm came around and no one showed I started calling and texting people to see if everything is ok cause they were late. The only ones that were late were my dad(49m) and his girlfriend(47f), but they are always late, but this time by 20-30 minutes. Everyone else didn't show for one reason or another. Some of them even said they had other plans, even though they all said they would come a months ago. So me and my girlfriend sat there for an hour and we're about to leave to go and get some comfort fast food before my dad finally showed up and then 10 minutes late his girlfriend did. I was already sitting there crying for a good 20 minutes. Our waiter was so nice too. I left him ten dollars and a cupcake(my dad gave him 20 and my girlfriend 18, so it was a pretty good tip from a party of 4 I think) After that I went to stay with my girlfriend and her family, which is where I am currently at. And this morning my girlfriends dad made me an awesome breakfast. I'm talking pancakes waffles (they had chocolate chips in them) sausage eggs bacon and caramel coffee, my dream breakfast. It was such a good morning. Everyone else is at work right now while I sit in her room and cry over all this. How can people I haven't even known for 2 months treat me better than me my own family? Like I'm glad that they do and that they like me. Because I really do love my girlfriend and I see an amazing future with her. Her parents and little sister even got me a gift card for GameStop. It's like their my family more than my own family is. I can't keep making excuses every time they don't show up for one of my birthdays cause this isn't the first time. Up until now I forgot why I never really had birthday partys with them in it. It's always been my dad my pawpaw(who just died recently) and his girlfriend and her family and now my girlfriend and her family.
Sorry, it's kinda long. I'm just posting this on here because I don't want to bother my girlfriend and obviously the ones that I thought I could trust don't really care about me all that much.
On a brighter note though, my girlfriend is taking me to see the new animate Spider-Man movie that came out this month so I'm excited for that.

2023.06.06 16:12 rowancheung Carbon Health's ai tool cuts doctors workload

Carbon Health Technologies, a clinic chain, has unveiled a groundbreaking tool. It utilizes AI to generate medical records, freeing doctors to focus on patient care rather than administrative tasks by:
  1. Recording and transcribing patient appointments using Amazon Transcribe Medical.
  2. Combining the transcript with other information, like lab results and notes from the doctor, to generate a summary of the patient’s visit.
  3. Create instructions based on the summary, using GPT-4 for patient care and codes for diagnoses and billing.Almost 90% of submitted transcripts require no editing from the healthcare provider. So while we may not have robot doctors just yet, AI is already making an impact in the doctor’s office.
Almost 90% of submitted transcripts require no editing from the healthcare provider. So while we may not have robot doctors just yet, AI is already making an impact in the doctor’s office.
The full breakdown went live this morning right here, but all points are included below for Reddit discussion as well.
what happened?
Carbon Health has launched an AI-enabled notes assistant in its Electronic Health Records (EHR) platform. The tool records and transcribes patient appointments, generates a summary, and creates instructions for patient care and billing codes, all within less than four minutes. This allows providers to focus more on patient care. The AI-generated records are found to be more detailed and efficient than traditional manual records.
why is this important?
  1. Efficiency: The AI-enabled EHR significantly reduces the time taken to generate a complete medical chart, from an average of 16 minutes manually to less than 4 minutes. This efficiency is crucial in healthcare settings where time is often of the essence.
  2. Accuracy: The system has shown high accuracy, with 88% of the AI-generated text accepted by the provider without edits, minimizing the risk of errors that can occur with manual data entry.
  3. Focus on Patient Care: By automating the administrative task of charting, doctors can spend more time focusing on patient care, enhancing the quality of healthcare services.
  4. Scalability: Given that this is an AI-based system, it can potentially be scaled up across other healthcare settings, leading to industry-wide improvements in healthcare delivery.
  5. Data richness: AI-generated charts are reported to be 2.5 times more detailed than manual ones, potentially leading to more comprehensive and informed healthcare decisions.
here are some implications to think about...

2023.06.06 15:48 Therewillbevoid plunger sized coffee storage

Has anyone found a small storage container for preground coffee that would fit inside the plunger tube of the Aeropress Go?
I can live without storing the scoop and stirrer in there and it would make it much easier to carry everything for the morning. A vacuum sealing one maybe too.much to hopeful but a secure lid would be great and a ilanle online in the UK would be perfect.
