Has anyone successfully gotten a device to bind to a Zigbee group? I've been trying with various devices for a month or so and I haven't once got a group to respond. I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong.
In my main space, I have approximately 10 Zigbee bulbs. I'm able to bind all of my switches to the bulbs independently, but never the group of bulbs. This becomes an immediate problem when, with the push of an on button, I'm sending ten different "on" requests to ten different bulbs. Some of the bulbs lag, and in some rare cases one just won't turn on. If I'm dimming, they will dim inconsistently as the messages arrive at different times, maybe a message will drop, etc.
How am I setting up groups?

1. Open the Zigbee2MQTT Web UI, and navigate to Groups.
2. Create a group. Give it a name. Press create.
3. Add the bulbs to the group. Select the bulbs one by one, add them in.

I'm specifically not creating any scenes at this time, just adding the bulbs to a group.
Then I go back to the Devices panel, select my desired switch, and bind it to the group. What happens next? Absolutely nothing. No response.
I can control the group of lights from Home Assistant without a hitch! But the Zigbee binding just will not function.
Does anyone have any advice whatsoever? I'm drawing blanks!

Hello, so recently my wife and I's girlfriend passed away at 89 years old. We found out that she had around 4 million dollars in assets and its being split up into percentages of certain family members. My wife's share is 7%. We've lived and taken care of her the past 5 years. She had us bring her to a lawyer around 2 years ago to have her trust and will written up. She told my wife in secret that she also left me account quoting "to my chauffeur." Because I was the one who drove her to all of her doctor's appointments and hospital visits. Well, some time has passed since her death and things are settling but we're not hearing anything about an account going to me. Trust me, I'm perfectly content with my wife's share as that's over $200,000. But we wouldn't want any money that was meant to go to me to go to waste or never be distributed. Another thing our grandmother said was that she was worried about my parents asking us for money since we'd have a decent amount. But the thing is, we can't even touch the $200,000 until my wife is 30. She is 21 now. A bank known as Cadence Bank is distributing the funds, and so far, they know nothing about an account in my name. Is there anything I need to do? Perhaps our grandmother didn't leave an account in my name, which is perfectly fine. But it wouldn't make sense why she would lie to my wife about the account or why she'd be worried about people using us for money. Should I be calling around, or double checking her paperwork? Maybe call the lawyer? Is this kind of thing even possible where an account can be lost? Obviously I know nothing about this kind of stuff. So I thought I'd ask on here to see if any experts could put in their 2 cents. Thanks!

I am 22 weeks pregnant right now. I started getting itchy on the front of my shins at 8 weeks. It has now progressed to involve: the arches and heels of my feet, calf, shins, knees front and back, thighs front and back, right hip with a tattoo, butt cheeks, under cheeks, middle of chest, under breasts, palms of my hands, fingers, all the way up to the back of my shoulders and neck. Most of the tattoos I have are also raised and itching now for some reason. I don’t sleep for the first 5 hours of laying down due to the itching, I make myself bleed without even knowing, I’ve become a health hazard with the job I have working in food since my hands and fingers are always bleeding but I can’t not work. I get told by doctors I need to not itch, I just have to run through my clothes and can’t itch. It’s maddening because it’s so bad I can’t I wish they would see that. I’ve been given two prescribed antihistamines, hydrocortisone 2.5% steroid cream, Triamcinolone Acetonide .1% steroid cream, oral steroids all of which have had no affect. All of these prescribed by my OB, ER doctor, urgent care doctor and primary care doctor. My OB has tested my blood once for Cholestasis when I was 16 weeks and it was negative. They keep telling me it’s way too early for me to even have that or PUPPS or any type of itch this bad from pregnancy. They’ve all recommended I see a dermatologist. Which I’ve been told they don’t know when they’ll call me or when I’ll get in. I feel like no one is listening to me. No one will put themselves in my shoes and help me figure it out because it’s maddening itching 24/7 for months. If someone took the time to read this can someone tell me if I’m crazy and the doctors are right or if something really could be wrong?

disclaimer: I am likely going to install a temporary full beam flange width post with steel base and probably 1/4" thick top cap regardless of what is figured here, until I can remedy the core issues. I would *like* to not have to do that as the movement isn't too too terrible, unless I find buckling or cracking when I tear into it, which I am not expecting to find. I am trying to keep this short and concise. I'm not looking for precise to the fraction measurements. I'm really looking for a, yes that design could have been viable in preventing flexural torsional buckling/twisting. I have no reason to believe there's any local or distrortional buckling, yet. Obviously, I will need to tear into it but my ADHD would like to know how much motivation I am going to need to start this and how much cursing I will be doing through out.
Questions:
1.)This is my main question, as I am trying to attempt to tell my woman I tried to not use a post. Would a basic 2x4 wall assembly supporting a 2-2x10 beam be adequate to provide an H beam with the needed lateral support to prevent flexural torsional buckling? Or rather, does the intersecting 4x10 member provide any stability in this situation, or is it just a floor member support? I have yet to see how it is connected at the 4x10 side, but after seeing the beam side with scope, I believe I may be over assuming its function, but that could be a red herring of poor craftsmanship. Technically it doesn't show anything useful. Picture is included down below, you can see the 2x/osb/shim assembly aggressively pulled apart, starting at the top, as the beam pulled away due to twisting counter clock wise. Much more info below but as stated below: The H beam is 10" tall x 8.25" wide x 1/2" thick. The load is roughly 8000lb of brick and 8000 pounds of roof. The lateral support would've started at roughly 70" away from support post, not including bearing measurement. Viable lateral stay? or just a joist support?
2.)Would a sufficiently sized post wide enough to support the entire flange, positioned at the assumed lateral support location, alleviate the middle span stress and be positive towards the existing beams health, or would I most benefit from supporting the flange on ends fully? or both? Or should I crib the lower beam to help temporarily support the upper beam mid span? Or is there a reason I'm not seeing as to why the existing end posts do not fully support the beam flange, beyond possible lack of support underneath the post? I have more than enough foundation to support a 10x10 if I desired at the "lateral support" location.
3.)Would bricking in beam ends be a positive addition in this situation, or would I be better off considering welding end caps at minimum and calculating for bracing to help with torsional buckling? Just out of curiosity, I imagine tension and compression are distorting the ends/effecting bearing/span capacity.

The pictures included at the bottom may be a better story teller than this wall of text I'm trying to summarize. Back story before I ask my question because this is the ultimate solution that can't happen yet. I have a residential structure was remodeled in roughly the 90s. I am assuming during the remodel they did drainage, and the drainage was done with steel corrugated pipe, which is in the process of, or is, collapsed. I realize this is a situation that needs remedied, and will be bringing in a mini to do proper drainage within the next few months, I hope. As a result of said drainage, and the fact that the foundation is on a heavy clay, I have a lot of expansion and contraction, and thus erosion. After drainage I will be driving some sort of piers and likely adding to the footings. I understand this is the core of my issue and the ultimate fix, it can't happen yet.
AS A RESULT, i have 2 supporting walls that are roughly 0.2 ISH degrees off last time I measured. Those walls support a beam, that beam supports 2 posts, which supports another beam. I will need to support the lower beam as it has some twist in direction of load, and unfortunately I think the brick plate does not have enough weld to attach it to the beam, and it's starting to split due to someone modifying the beam by cutting a hole dead center, and removing brick, which seems to support a large slab above it.
The house is 60s era, I believe the beams were all installed in the 90s, I believe some got repaired sometime before I moved in. I lived in this house for roughly 7? years now, the beam when moved in, which is covered with drywall, had a crack roughly dead center starting at bottom flange and working its way up and back, showing SOME but not much deflection. I wasn't concerned at the time, it was another project. Well it's time to do the project and I've had more shifting, still within spec just estimating, but definitely needs remedied as it will keep moving due to circumstances. In before the "there's no way anyone on reddit can help you, you need to see a so and so engineer" yes. Sure. And I will eventually. Good luck finding one any time soon though. at least here. I build and work with a lot of wood and steel structures although I over build, especially with steel, since I have a lot, my calculations are more jazz unfortunately due to health concerns that have eaten my brain but I am recovering, although I am more into hydraulic assemblies now. This is in my wheel house, although I'm not able to think 100% at this point yet due to personal issues, I am very capable of carrying out a temporary support and longer term fix, eventually. I am playing around with ideas at this point though. "boy this sounds like you're in over your head". I would hope the beam stays in over my head. This is my goal anyways. Enough jokes.
The beam in question above it is also twisting the same direction, likely due to the posts favoring direction of load, the posts not fully supporting the flange closest to the load direction, what I am assuming is a lateral support has seperated, and I am assuming the beam being loaded off center promoting torsion, specifically at the center of span, which is just beyond where the lateral support is. As a result, and keep in mind this is just rough eye balling because I have not removed any drywall beyond the one end to scope out, and the drywall job is interesting, so I am wondering if everything was straight/ flush to begin with. I am under the assumption, the beam jobs were designed by an engineer. However, I am also pretty sure THIS specific issue was fixed once before, and was partially the reason it's happening now, because improper fasteners/material was used.

The basement a ROUGH not to scale diagram which includes 2 beams each color coded, each has 1 end that supports the upper beam's post, which is notated with shapes. not really concerned about them, though I think the one needs some love/brick plate wasn't welded properly and is spltting from the beam slowly, and torsion mimics the 2nd floor beam} The problem beam supports a fraction of a roughly 12,000 pound 7" floating concrete slab, which is why it has a brick plate/bricked. 2. the 2nd floor, which is where the beam in question is. The posts for this beam sit on the other two beams drawn, notated by diamond and 4 sided star. I tried to keep them color coded between the two drawings. Diamond being pink compromised beam, yellow being intact neutral smaller beam, and red just dictating the 2nd floor beam as a whole. This beam supports roughly 8000 pound of brick, not accounting for any load distribution, two roofs, I can't find my calculations there, but I'm in a 30psf area so let's assume both roofs together applying load on that beam would max roughly 8000 pounds. https://imgur.com/a/WI3N8z1

• Beam is 10" tall x 8.25 wide 1/2" thick.
• 218" total span, + 3.75" bearing on each end
• Posts are 4.5" thick x 7" wide, 2x lumber, they do not support the whole flange on the LOAD side. I do not see signs of these budging, Honestly, while the underlying structure is off some, I am getting contradicting readings on plumb. I'm actually wondering if the beam is pushing the posts opposite directions at this point, as readings are 0ish to 0.1 on one post {the posts aren't properly combined, so there seems to be some movement between them, or they weren't joined flush/shrunk after} and 0.3 degrees opposite directions, like the "lateral support" is acting as a pivot. THAT hasn't moved since first and last measurement since i've checked. Frankly. likely lazy install.
• Beam on bottom flange at center (measured on drywall) is twisted 2.2 degrees. This seems to be a uniform dimensional twist and not any form of permanent damage. This equals about 3/8" of sag on no load side and 3/4"ish on load side compared to posts. Could be a slightly wider ratio though.
• I do not know if there is cantilever on the diamond labeled side of beam
• I also do not see any way this beam is fastened to the posts, unless they are under the 2x drywall connection boards, which is possible.
• The scope pictures below show what I was assuming was a lateral support connection. I'm not sure that's true now. It does look like there was repair done here once before, AFTER the first installation.

1. 2 scope picture of the connection of lumber and shims to beam, which is what connects what I am calling the lateral support, etc. These are pretty useless and uneventful, as the material will all be replaced regardless of situation, and you can't see the connection. I would not be surprised if it was toe nailed, as I am assuming it was fixed at some point due to context clues as a result of a similar movement in past.

Woman didn't want a post, but she'll probably get a post. I'm aware I can add plate steel to the bottom/top flange. I can add bracing. I can add a second beam. I can wrap the posts in a fabricated C channel, or replace with a full size beam post. I can increase the bearing capacity by adding extra 2x lamination/dispersing load on sill. Maybe someone is seeing something I can't see or am glazing over. My main concern, and maybe I'm wasting time on it, is assuming that off center connection is a lateral support to help prevent twisting.
I appreciate the responses, insulting or neutral ahead of time. I'll try to revise this and lessen the word wall in a bit/correct some terminology specifics.

At least 50% of my recent games Ive been matched with either full teams (4+me) that speak no English at all and have zero ability to communicate with me, or majority (3) speak broken English and i'm also unable to communicate. If you don't speak English that's fine but playing an hour long competitive game where i cant talk to my teammates at all is kinda pointless and not fun for me or them. Why in the past 2 months has this gotten so bad? It ruins the experience for all of us because i cant speak with them and they cant speak with me. Any ideas?

I’ve never been in a real relationship.
My first ever “real” relationship was long distance. Lasted maybe 2 months. Ended in a break up. Said I was immature. Immature in the sense I was clingy and “too sweet” whatever that meant. Was in college. She didn’t dislike me. Checked in on me later in life. She married a military guy.
Second relationship. Long distance. Didnt last long at all. I still considered her an ex. We still talk. Not really. Once in a year maybe. She never considered me as an ex.
Third. Was half long distance and partly not. She lived nearby but couldn’t drive. I didn’t have a car. She technically was my first kiss. Took my virginity but I’ve seen it said “if you didn’t cum you never lost your v-card” and if that’s the case, even with later relationships then by that logic I’m still a virgin. Barely saw each other. I break up with her because I didn’t feel she wanted to be with me. She ends up dating my best friend of the time and still is.
I’ve dated a few others that were long distance but were short lived. Honestly long distance just… doesn’t feel real to me.
My last relationship. Knew each other for 4 months. Dated long distance for a bit. Met for a week. Honestly is a great week. Took her around, treated her, gave her a good time. Sex of course but like I mentioned earlier I never finished. Tbh? Sex was just fun with her. Getting mixed signals
Backstory: I am M(22) I met this girl at her work F(18) and we got to talking and she invited me to a party that night (Saturday) at her place and I could tell she liked me because during the party she was all over me and stayed by me the whole party, after we got drunk I stayed the night in her room and we cuddled till morning. And the next morning I woke up to go home and she walked me to my car and everything. I texted her that night (Sunday) saying I had so much fun and after that we got to talking on text, and she seemed interested. And the next day (Monday) me and my friend went to her work to talk to her more and she was telling my friend how much she liked me and wanted to get to know me. So after she got off work I offered to bring her food to her house and she agreed. We were talking and it got pretty late so she let me spend the night again and this night she kissed and we made out for like a minute, then we went to bed cuddling more. (So far no sex has happens btw) and the next day (Tuesday) we had a pretty good date I’d say we both had fun and we both kissed each other after the date to say goodbye. And after this I thought she was very interested in dating me.
Where the mixed signals come in: Now it’s been two days and she seem pretty distant. Shes been leaving me on delivered sometimes for more than 2 hours and not seeming very interested in the texting most the time. She has been kinda busy tho these past two days I’ll give her that but still she hasn’t really been showing she is interested over text or any desire to hang out again. The same anxiety i had before breaking up with her before. The last thing I want to do is break her heart again, I care about her so much.

So important background: my friend “E” and I dated for a year. Broke up like 6 months ago. Started talking again and hanging out like 2 months ago.
During the time we didn’t talk, he started seeing someone new. Although it weirded me out at first when he told me, I really didn’t care for it as I moved on.
I wanted to make sure that our new friendship wouldn’t affect his current relationship so I asked him if it was ok with girl. He told me that “she isn’t the most fond of the idea but she accepts his decision”. I was hesitant, but he told me not to worry about it.
Fast forward a few weeks, and he tells me that his gf doesn’t know when he hangout and that it’s better for her to not know “as it will be easier for her”.
I most def feel like he’s hiding the friendship and it makes me feel a bit uncomfortable as the gf should probably know. I wouldn’t hide it from my partner but I also feel like it’s not my business.
Any advice on how to approach this?

Throwaway for obvious reasons:
Generally I don’t dream very often at all and have been that way since I was a little kid. I either have 0 dreams or I wake up with a very very brief feeling that I dreamt but having no recollection of what it was. There are rare occasions I get vivid dreams and they are like movies with storylines and plot twists and everything lol. Those happen about once or twice a year.
Today I can proudly say I am 7 months sober. During the first month or so of sobriety I had a few night terrors but I never remembered them I would just wake up screaming/sweating/with a fast heartbeat. Since that month I’d been back to my regular old peaceful dreamless sleeping until about 2 weeks ago.
I’ve now had 4 vivid dreams in the span of 2 weeks and in all of them I was using. There was no storyline or plot or anything like that it was just what felt like hours of me alone in my apartment using and enjoying the high (listening to music, staring into the abyss, blurred vision, euphoria). They’re so realistic that I almost feel like I’m coming down from the high for about an hour after waking up from the dreams. The most recent dream ended with someone knocking on my door, and me scrambling to hide my stuff. When I woke up I was still panicked and even waited for hours for everyone (roommates) to leave then went and checked the spot I “hid the drugs” in to get rid of them. Only then did I realize it was a dream.
I’m not sure what to do about this because it’s making me crave using and the “come down” after the dream makes it feel like I’m barely a day sober. I’m worried this will trigger a relapse but I don’t know how to explain this to a close friend without sounding/feeling silly and I can’t afford therapy.
I’m not planning on using again but I’m struggling and I just needed to let this out. I’m not sure if it’s possible to advise this situation other than saying “get therapy” but I’d be open to any input.

I'm seeking someone willing to do a romance/angst/SOL roleplay around Persona 5. I'm not that interested in playing any of the main characters, instead I wanna focus on a Takuto Maruki X Sadayo Kawakami relationship. I'm also open to doubling, if you're interested in another ship (doesn't have to even be from the Persona series, we can discuss)
I'm primarily looking to play around both characters experience dealing with troubled youths, and bonding around said similarities in life. Mostly fluffly stuff involving a frustrated teacher and a frustrated therapist trying to make ammends for errors of their respective pasts, and finding love in the process. It could involve action or drama, given the context of the series, but the focus would be on the character development of the two, and trying to write a cohesive story around them.
I usually write 2-3 paragraphs, and consider myself semi-literate, although I could try to match my partner's pace If necessar. I also do not have problems with playing multiple characters or NPC's. Please don't mind having some time between responses, as I am very busy these days, but I try to at least write 3-4 a day, and more on weekends.
I maybe could consider other characters like Takemi Chihaya, or an OC, but none of the student characters of the game. I'm also not against the idea of an AU or changing canon a bit.

Hi,
I’m currently on a lot higher calories than usual. The past 2 nights I’ve had to have a lot of those Kcals within 2hrs of sleeping (extremely bloated) and my heart rate upon waking from my sleep data is extremely elevated. A normal night I’m around 50-65. The past 2 nights I’ve been at 78 & 88. My HRV is also down the drain consecutively both nights.
Does anyone else see this kind of data when going to bed with a stomach.. more than full?
