I like to play offline and locally with my friends, but I would like to unlock all available camos/weapon skins/soldier skins, etc... Also perhaps set my player level to max to have everything unlocked in Zombies. Is there any trainer that could do that? Or is there any particular file, where I can change the player info? Thanks.

2023.06.06 16:42 Astro98621 My Thoughts On MK11 Before MK12 Comes Out
I've recently started playing MK11 (Switch version) again after about two years of leaving it. After seeing that amazing trailer for MK1, it motivated me to play MK11 again until it comes out. The reason I got MK11 in the first place was because of Spawn and nothing else. It wasn't until I started experimenting with other characters and really immersing myself into the game that I started appreciating it more.
Towers of Time is engaging and provides a substantial challenge. I just recently learned about Meteor Towers and the Kombat League Skins, so now I'm farming them. The Krypt, although pretty tedious at times, is fun to explore. Shang Tsung's commentary as I suffer getting through his island is the icing on the cake.
Now, I've got to say that MK11's story is, by far, one of the worst stories I've ever experienced. The power scaling is a complete joke, some fan-favorites get the shaft and a bunch of non-sensical things happen, like Kitana blinding Shao Khan instead of outright killing him and Hanzo not sensing D'Vorah despite being a ninja with superior senses didn't hear her coming. This is some cruel irony as a while ago, he teased Sub-Zero about how his hearing is failing.
Sonya's chapter is the worst in the entire game and a prime example of non-sensical power scaling. So, you're telling me that a younger, inexperienced Sonya can defeat an immortal construct made by a literal god of time that gets stronger every time he dies? But yet, she's easily captured by weaker, mass produced robots? Liu Kang and Kung Lao got their asses handed to them after Geras resurrected, which means he was stronger than the last time we saw him, so how is Sonya 1v1'ing him and winning? It would have made a little more sense if it was Cassie since she has actual magic abilities.
You know what would have made MK11's story more tolerable? A chapter with Noob and him becoming an anti-hero for this game only. Remember that Bi-Han literally saved the world single-handedly. Yeah, his soul got corrupted in the process, was kind of evil in a way before becoming Noob, but he still had some honor and humanity. In MK9, he literally pleads with Scorpion trying to convince him that who he saw wasn't Bi-Han.
Instead of that fight club chapter, we could have had one of MK's most beloved characters get some much-needed attention. I'm not saying he would've been bosom buddies with Scorpion and Kuai Liang, but seeing a triad of these three standing side-to-side on Charon's ship and fighting against the Cyber Lin Kuei would have been amazing fanservice.
MKX's story isn't the best either, but it had better pacing and was a direct continuation of MK9. Although it really shouldn't have made the Special Forces the main focal point, at least it wasn't convoluted like MK11's.
In fact, this is the most glaring issue with stories focusing on time travel. Anything can happen and it works because "haha time funny." And then Aftermath came out, which turned an already-convoluted story into a complete clusterfuck. It's more like a "What If" scenario rather than an extension. The only things that I enjoyed in Aftermath was Shang Tsung doing Shang Tsung things, Sheeva, Jax's alternate recruitment and learning about Liu Kang's galaxy brained plan.
I knew he had something planned, but to think he'd be so bold to let his archnemesis win and then clown on him; that was funny. In short, multiple endings only work in Arcade Mode and not in the actual canon Story Mode.
Now, let me talk about the gameplay:
The Good:
- The gameplay is slow and easy to learn
- You can display input commands while fighting making it easier to implement them into your muscle memory
- The stages and their interactions are cool like the Cyber Lin Kuei Assembly , though I feel that MKX's are slightly better.
- The Friendships, though they should have been in the game to start with.
- Krushing Blows are satisfying to land
- A smaller, but decent roster of characters
The Bad:
- Fatal Blows: Easily one of the most irritating mechanics as it's a free 30 percent. I forgot where it was posted, but someone once said that it's a "mid-game Fatality," which is rather accurate. Another problem with this mechanic is how it just breaks immersion in the fight and can leave you disappointed despite winning.
- Breakaway: Probably the dumbest feature in MK history when it's almost pointless due to Armor Breaking moves. Breakers actually reset the game state back into neutral while maintaining flow. Breakaway disrupts that flow while also costing you two meters, which take 10,000 years to recharge.
- The DLC characters: Alright, hear me out on this one. I'm not talking about characters such as Spawn, Terminator and Rambo. I mean characters such as Sindel, Shao Khan, Mileena, Nightwolf and Rain. This is one of my main problems with modern fighting games. Remember when secret characters were unlockable? Nowadays, you have to pay to have characters that should have been in the base game. If I had developed MK11, I would have made Shao Khan, Shang Tsung and Fujin, etc. unlockable after you beat the respective stories. It would have given players something to strive for and show that the developers cares more about entertainment and not money.
All in all, MK11 is just another victim of not being able to cook long enough. It may not have been perfect, but with an additional six months to a year's worth of development, MK11 wouldn't have received as much flak as it did. It's still a pretty good game, all things considered. But yeah, that's all I wanted to say. MK11 isn't as bad as I originally thought and playing it again made me more excited for MK1.

Inside the Ubisoft connect app. To find the activation key that will allow you to unlock the said content in-game
⢠Choose your account name in the top right hand corner of the application.
⢠From the menu, select Account Information.
⢠Inside your Account Information page, pick My Games.
Here you can see a list of the games you own on your account. Click "show key" to view the key of the DLC
In steam. Right click the game in steam library, and then "manage" and you should have there a button to show the keys (this is not true for all steam games)
To activate the key:
In game In main menu, go to extras, Downloadable content - write down the key there and should activate.
Now go and have fun, it's an amazing game.

The thread about WW1 from yesterday reminded me of this proposal Iād written most of a couple months ago but hadnāt finished on how to create a satisfying Great War experience for Vicky:
So while rewatching Indy Neidell's The Great War, it got me thinking that Vicky 3 in it's current state cannot properly model it. There are many aspects which would need to be added to or be reworked to do The Great War well. And, knowing Paradox, probably will come in a future DLC. š
But, in the meantime, and in case anyone wants to mod it, this is an outline of what I think would be needed for it without being too burdensome and making it too HoI4y.
Current Problems and Gameplay Limitations - Countries can't intervene in ongoing wars - Probably the biggest aspect here vs the actual Great War is the war growing as it went on. Besides the obvious of America, you also had Italy and Romania as late entrants. There are of course others but those are most notable because of how that upended the fronts and deployments of troops.
- Official Neutrality should be a thing - While you are certainly able to Declare Neutrality, there isnāt a specific policy stance that can be taken and was like Belgium and Switzerland. The violation of that official neutrality and Britain guaranteeing it was the direct cause of Britain joining the war. That kind of is modeled with defense pacts and violate sovereignty but Britainās guarantee of Belgium was more of a one way pact.
- You cannot add or change demands once the war has started - While understandable from a mechanics and AI problems point of view, claims changed dramatically over the course of the war. Notably, you had Germany tack on a bunch of Liberate Countries when Brest Litovsk. Same for America when they joined and backed various nationalist movements.
- Submarine warfare being connected to the main battle fleet - This is particularly jarring because save for a few occasions, Germany kept it's main fleet at home while going nuts with subs. Were a player to try and do so, you'd have ten battles of Jutland just trying to raid convoys.
- And of course, generals and the front system is in desperate need of another pass - Controversial opinion that may be, the front system in itself is a great idea. The problem are it's limitations. Namely, tying armies to individual generals. If you have a Luigi Cadorna who is in desperate need of retirement, you would essentially have to delete the army and assign it to someone else while said troops go flying back and forth between front and barracks and back. Which is silly.
With the problems laid out, here is I think the most economical way to fix them.
1.When multilateral alliances are researched, this yields A POLARIZED WORLD - Drawing a bit of inspiration from EU4's Thirty Years War mechanic and CK3's Iberian struggle, before any Great War should be the jostling over balance of power in Europe. Alliances in the late 1800s early 1900s were rather in flux based on interests and enmities. To that end once unlocked, there should be a couple decades before the war breaks out of the great powers getting allies and diplomatic near misses. This could be done with a bunch of flavor events to model diplomatic back and forth.
I think the best way to visualize that is a screen that looks a bit like
CK2ās nomadic clan relationships where it displays the web of relationships between the Great Powers. And the AI will be drawn towards the great powers they have the best relationships with and in opposition to ones who they have interest disagreements.
Tension will rise when you and when have more than three great powers mutually allied it will codify as Triple Entente, Triple Alliance, Le Coalition Cordiale, Die Reichsliga whatever dynamic flavored bit of alt hist alliance name that RNG can come up with. And of course, the Neutrals have their own column but they can be bribed out of neutrality.
2.The Trigger Event - Once the alliances are set, it is time to get the party started. In game terms, what happened in Saravejo is that the crown prince was visiting a province with high turmoil from a separatist minority and an assassination event fired. This caused Austria to declare a Humiliation war against Serbia who had a Defensive Pact with Russia who then called in their alliance with France.
So something like that as a trigger is needed.
Thereās many possible flashpoints that could be used to set that war off. Spit balling, you could have an early Spanish civil war and supporting opposite sides leads into direct intervention. Or pogroms in Bulgaria against Muslims believed to be sponsored by the Russians cause the Ottomans close off ship traffic to the Russians in the Black Sea. Or France went Communist and Germany has a lot of trade union radicals in the Rhine threatening revolution and goes to violently suppress them and yes I am straight up stealing from Kaiserreich.
And so on. Various triggers for scenarios can be made of like āis supporting opposite sides same continent civil warā or āis high tension ethnicity primary culture country in defense pact with great powerā or āis head of other faction led by same interest group as domestic ig pushing for revolutionā
Critically, war should not be impossible to stop because WW1 was not inevitable. There are multiple instances where diplomacy could have prevailed or the war could have been minimized and it should reflect that by making the right choices.
Flashpoints would probably be best expressed as event chain MadLibs based on the country condition specific triggers. For the case of IRL, it'd be something like "Assassination of crown prince by nationalists" chain with the triggers for that one being 'Great Power allied with another Great Power' [Y] and 'Turmoil in province with neighboring country having claim to it' [Y]
WW1 initiating flashpoints will continue until a League of Nations monument is built.
3.Joining The Fun - Once the path to war is set, the primary combatants decided, everyone should be able to get in on the party! At least on paper, I think violate sovereignty is fine as is (although I have yet to try it so I donāt know how well it works?) but doing so should add to your infamy and make it more likely other countries will join the war against you. As for the war itself, the same window that had the jockeying for alliances now basically has a numerical tally of the suffering the combatants have undergone, which amounts to contribution to warscore plus casualties received and economic damage taken. The more suffering, the more that theyāll unlock in regards to additional claims they want to inflict in the war ending Treaty. From dismantling of empire to changing of government to land claims, etc.
Those suffering points for lack of a better word can also be spent in offering war goals to potential allies to get them to join.
4.War gameplay changes that are needed - As previously mentioned, the key aspects of change that are the biggest problem are that generals need to be able to be replaced without moving the army (Button to swap out commander on an army with it promoting if necessary?) and submarines should be their own thing separate from the surface fleet with the ability to have prize rules vs unrestricted with the latter likely to down third party vessels and increase animosity. Also, blockading should be an additional option for surface fleets beyond convoy raid since itās a more passive denial of trade. Finally, you need to be able to call off an attack if itās going poorly. Generals certainly threw meat into the grinder thinking victory was still possible when it wasnāt. But they didnāt fight to the last uncommitted man.
5.Peace - So the thing to remember with The Great War is that it wasnāt a case of unconditional surrender. But! they did tend to dip when their countries were nearing their breaking point. So warscore and desire to continue fighting should take into account the suffering score, your strength relative to the enemies on your border, and whether a revolution in favor of pacifism has taken power or is at risk of taking power. Choosing to take a separate peace or having one forced upon you because youāre overrun would then yield the negotiating table. Having high suffering points while being the loser translates the winning party able to make more demands of you. Having relatively low suffering points, at least inflicted by the remaining combatants, means the end result is that much more likely to be a white peace.
Peace treaty negotiations honestly should just steal HOI4ās reworked bidding peace treaty system and adjust accordingly for giving of diplomatic promises in exchange for entry and the ratcheting up of demands as war went on.
It should be noted that with the system I laid out, to mechanically get what was Americaās outsized influence on the treaty negotiations, thatād be modeled by having the Entente make offers towards Release Nations and Enforce Government as the added wargoals in exchange for joining. Which isnāt the most accurate? But itās close enough while keeping to the spirit of it.
So yeah, that about covers what I think would need to change to make a WW1 in Vicky 3 something closer to what transpired without drastically changing the mechanics too radically.
Iām happy to take any critiques or changes from this youād prefer. This is tantamount to an open letter on how I think they may be able to accomplish their goals. With any luck, many of the items listed are already in the works!
