I was on BL for more than 10 years. Started getting postcards for united. I am a 1k and have been.
Surprisingly was approved for this card and received with a 25k limit nonetheless. Does that mean I'm off the blacklist list ??

2023.03.24 06:19 Stumblebee Some reflections and questions about my first ever live poker experience
So I grew up watching the WSOP on ESPN and always wanted to play real life poker. I'm an adult now and suddenly realized that it's a thing I can actually do now. So I found a $60 buy-in tournament at my local casino and jumped right in after a couple days of watching some Daniel Negreanu tournament streams and researching ways to not be total ass (pre-flop ranges, keeping position in mind, etc)
Against all odds and despite my best efforts, I ended up making the final table (out of 30) and chopped a 4-way pot for 445!
Some notes, reflections, and questions;
1) playing with the poker chips is fun but not as fun as my inner child wanted it to be.
1a) how the shit do you do the little chip shuffle?? that feels like magic.
2) how the shit do you guys remember live hands to study? Soon as the cards leave my hand, they also leave my brain. The way some folks will perfectly recount hands, bets, raises, and the board astounds me.
3) literally the only hand I remember well: I folded AJo UTG but the board went XXAAA. Would have had Quad Aces, rip
4) I started to be unable to make clean antes after a while and didn't realize the dealer can make change with other antes, so I asked to exchange 1 1k chip for 10 100s. Got a weird look from the guy next to me and said nevermind lol. Realized pretty quickly that small denominations don't matter worth much later in the game.
5) Things were pretty damn nerve-wracking at the beginning, loosened up when I got used to the flow of the game, got sweaty when we were on the bubble, and then the mood got way more fun when we hit the cash. Is it like that every game?
6) I kept losing track of the button, posted big blinds as small blind multiple times, folded as the BB when I had the option
7) busting someone out of an event feels very weird. I knocked three people out, two on fairly bad beats. Don't think I could feel good doing that in a cash game where the money is their actual money without feeling pretty bad.
8) I feel like I'm aware of a pretty obvious tell when I bet. Very confident and quick bets when I have it, hims and haws when I don't. I think I was able to use that to my advantage to bluff a few hands.
9) speaking of, bluffing feels amazing when you pull it off.
10) Dealers and poker game directors are absolute fucking magicians with how quickly and confidently they have to resolve issues like burned cards, boxed cards, large chip counts, etc. Tonight gave me major, major appreciation for these people. Tip your dealers y'all.
11) this is the second time Tiktok has sent me down a rabbit hole and got me to step out of my comfort zone for something that looks fun to do. First golf, now poker.
12) y'all were pretty handy in getting me started too. The Poker Terms Glossary link has been broken for a few years now according to the way back machine (mods pls fix), but I do appreciate the conversation here since I legitimately think it helped me out in a few ways, specifically, tips on what to do/not to do when playing live for the first time.
13) I am still turbo dogshit at this game, but look forward to improving. That'll be a little hard to do though, because....
14) my states against online poker is wack as hell. I want to play micro-stakes and don't want to figure out VPNs and other stuff like that.
All-in-all, I had a great experience and will absolutely be back to play again!
Edit: bonus 15) I love peeling the corners of the cards and the sound they make when they hit the table. 😩😩😩

2023.03.24 06:14 Kreos642 First-Time Cross-Country Flight - Any Advice and/or Suggestions?
Hi there, everyone.
First time posting, bare with me please! I'm headed to Vegas in July for a convention and I have never flown on my own from East to West coast before. I
have been on a flight cross-country like that in the past, but that's when I was a teen/unaware young adult and my parents did the bookings. I thought it'd be best to be specific with what I'm doing, so I added the questions and extra things in as bullets instead of a huge paragraph.
My biggest goal: A flight that doesn't cancel, and a direct flight with no intentional layovers (is that a thing? Transfers i guess is maybe what its called)?
If you guys have any pointers besides dressing comfy, wearing easy on/off shoes, the basics as a passenger, I'd be seriously grateful.
Here's the details and questions:
- Dates: Leaving on a Wednesday, returning on a Monday
- Airports: departing from JFK and headed to Harry Reid International
- That airport in vegas is the closest one to where Im staying. Is it a solid airport? or a hunkajunk?
- TSA is now a thing you simply sign up for, right? When I was younger that wasn't the case and it was kinda random, if I remember right. Is it worth it now?
- Times: I'd like to arrive to Vegas around 3pm, since our check-in is around that time.
- We're flexible with arrival by 1-2 hours.
- Passengers: Two adults
- I've flown before around 8-10 times in the last 15 years or so
- My partner has never flown once (and is anxious).
- Any tips to prevent motion sickness, just in case?
- No medical/ADA/special accommodations necessary.
- Bags: it's a toss-up between carry-on + personal or checked + Personal.
- We've heard a lot about airlines losing peoples luggage and are mildly concerned about that. Is that true? does that happen often or not so much in the US?
- Is there a cost factor in either decision, generally speaking?
- Airlines/Budget:
- We do not have any official airline loyalty or perks membership.
- Airlines we were considering are: JetBlue, Delta and American Airlines.
- We're honestly wanting to choose one that's not going to cancel on us randomly, lose our luggage (if applicable), and preferably has good leg room since my partner is over 6ft.
- Budget for round trip: around $700 per person (without tax/fees) would be ideal.
- Do I still need to bring my COVID vaccination card? Just being sure.

2023.03.24 06:08 burntoutcashier Regulars who always have a fucking attitude and can’t control their kids.
There’s this couple that come into my store every few days. They have two young girls they cannot control. Barefoot, eating food off the floor, dropping it everywhere, climbing on self checkout registers, hitting each other, screaming, threatening each other, it’s absolute chaos from the minute they step into the store, until they finally leave.
The man is actually nice. He’s never been rude, and he’s told his wife to chill out when she’s either almost went off on me, or did just go off on me. She’s had an issue with me ever since something stopped getting covered by EBT, and thought I was doing something to keep it from covering it, when I have no control over any of that. Ever since then, she glares at me, fusses at me, and makes transactions an absolute nightmare.
They’re checking out at the self checkout. When you have to key your card in manually, you have to ask a SCO host because we have to verify you have the card with you. We scan our barcode and then the option appears.
Nothing was said to me before, until she yells, “It’s not letting us type our card in again!”
I go over, scan my barcode after seeing the man was holding the card, and the option appeared.
The next part is no one’s fault, our machines are shitty. It ended up freezing, the man called me over and said he didn’t know what happened, but it looked frozen. I tried scanning my barcode, pressing some buttons on the keypad.
I apologized, “I’m really sorry, it’s frozen and it won’t let me go back or cancel it. I can’t even suspend it so you don’t have to re-ring everything back up. I can help scan if you want, but I have to reboot this register.”
She starts complaining, “This happens every time we come here! Happens every single time! Now we gotta re-scan everything!”
He tells her, “Well it ain’t her fault! It’s the machines, you know they’re old.”
“Okay? And? That’s not my problem, it’s every single time we come in this store!”
I let him know to let me know when they need to key their card in, it doesn’t show up automatically. He thanks me, and they go on back to scanning. It wasn’t a buttload of stuff, it was enough to fit into a basket you carry around.
The entire time he’s scanning stuff, she’s bitching and moaning about the register, while also scoping her kids up and putting them by their register because they keep running off. Ones eating shit they dropped on the floor, screaming at the other not to touch their food, and then threatening, “I’m gonna beat you!” And absolutely smacking the everloving fuck out of the younger girl’s shoulder. The kid barely reacts, which I don’t know how to take. Is she used to having that happen? It just doesn’t phase her anymore? The older girl had to be around 6-7, the younger one had to be way younger. She’s still in pull-ups, which are often times leaking through her pants, which was the case today.
It kills me because I know they’re likely repeating what they’ve heard or been told. It also kills me because she’s clearly pregnant with another kid, while not even being able to handle the kids she has. It’s not my business, and I know I shouldn’t say anything like that, but it’s the truth.

I don't shop at Costco often enough to bother with a membership, but I do occasionally. Like twice a year. You can shop there with a gift card, so I just have my mother in law buy me 5 $10 gift cards. Then when I do want to go and shop I just show the card at the door and at the check out, but you aren't limited to only spending $10

2023.03.24 05:59 douglasohi Create A Safe And Healthy Workplace With These Campaign Ideas
A safe and healthy workplace is vital to a productive and positive work environment. Unfortunately, many workers are injured or become ill due to their job. To create a safe and healthy workplace, it is essential to have a safety campaign in place. These campaign ideas can help to create a safe and healthy workplace for your employees. A few essential
health and safety awareness campaign ideas can make a difference when creating a safe and healthy workplace. By raising awareness and promoting best practices, you can create an environment where employees feel comfortable and supported in their efforts to stay healthy and safe.
Promo
Promote Healthy Lifestyle Choices
Encourage employees to live healthy lifestyles by promoting healthy eating and physical activity. Make sure that your workplace has healthy food options available. And encourage employees to take breaks throughout the day to move around and get some exercise. You can also offer incentives for employees who make healthy lifestyle choices, such as discounts on gym memberships or free healthy snacks.
Encourage Employees To Get Vaccinated
One of the best ways to protect employees from illness is to encourage them to vaccinate. Make sure that your workplace is up to date on the latest vaccination recommendations. And offer employees incentives to get vaccinated, such as paid time off or gift cards. You can also offer on-site vaccination clinics to make it even easier for employees to get the necessary care.
Promote Hand-Washing And Other Hygiene Best Practices
Hand-washing is one of the most important things employees can do to protect themselves from illness. So make sure that your workplace has plenty of soap and water available. You can also promote other hygiene best practices. Such as coughing into your elbow and avoiding touching your face. Post signs in critical areas, such as bathrooms and break rooms, to remind employees of these essential practices.
Encourage Employees To Stay Home When They’re Sick
No one wants to work when they’re sick. And it’s essential to encourage employees to stay home when they’re not feeling well. Offer employees paid time off or other incentives to stay home when sick. And make sure that your workplace has a policy for employees who need to take time off for illness. You can also provide information on how employees can access telehealth services to get the care they need without putting others at risk.
Promote PPE Use
One of the most important things you can do to keep your workplace safe is to promote the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). When correctly outfitted with PPE, employees are much less likely to be injured. Ensure your employees know how to use and care for their protective equipment properly. And make sure they have easy access to it when they need it.
Encourage Safe Work Practices
There are some ways to make your workplace safer. And it’s important to encourage your employees to follow safe work practices. Some simple tips include:
• Promote regular stretching and warm-ups to reduce the risk of musculoskeletal injuries.
• Encourage employees to take breaks throughout the day to stay refreshed and reduce the risk of errors.
• Bring in ergonomic furniture and equipment to reduce the risk of repetitive strain injuries.
• Encourage employees to report any unsafe conditions or practices to management.
Conduct Regular Safety Inspections
Regular safety inspections are a great way to identify potential hazards in your workplace. Make sure to inspect all areas of your workplace, including workstations, storage areas, and common areas.
Conclusion
As an employer, you are responsible for creating a safe and healthy workplace for your employees. One way to promote safety in the workplace is to hold regular safety meetings. You can discuss new safety hazards at these meetings and review safety procedures. You can also encourage employees to report any safety concerns that they have. By creating a system for employees to report safety concerns, you can help to identify potential hazards before they become a problem. You can also use these reports to improve your safety campaigns and procedures. Implementing these
health and safety awareness campaign ideas can help ensure your workplace is safe and productive.

2023.03.24 05:48 Hour-Loquat3236 Accenture to Cut 19,000 Jobs as IT Spending Slows, Revenue Forecasts Trimmed
Accenture Plc, the multinational professional services firm, has announced plans to cut around 2.5% of its workforce, or 19,000 jobs, as it lowers its annual revenue and profit forecasts. The decision comes amidst a worsening global economic outlook that is impacting corporate spending on IT services. Accenture said that over half of the jobs to be cut will be in non-billable corporate functions. The announcement sent Accenture's shares up by 6.4%.
The global tech sector has been hit by high inflation and rising interest rates, resulting in hundreds of thousands of employees being laid off since late last year. Cognizant Technology Solutions, one of Accenture's rivals, warned of "muted" growth in bookings in 2022, while IBM and India's top IT services firm Tata Consultancy Services also reported weakness in Europe due to the Ukraine war.
As a result, Accenture lowered its revenue growth expectations for the year. The company now expects annual revenue growth to be between 8% and 10%, compared with its previous projection of an 8% to 11% increase. Similarly, earnings per share are expected to be in the range of $10.84 to $11.06 compared to the previously expected range of $11.20 to $11.52. Accenture anticipates incurring $1.2 billion in severance costs through fiscal years 2023 and 2024.
Chief Executive Julie Sweet said that companies remain focused on executing compressed transformations to become leaner in the turbulent economy. However, a survey of more than 1,000 IT decision-makers by Enterprise Technology Research revealed that businesses plan to reduce their 2023 budget growth expectations to 3.4%, down from the 5.6% increase captured in October 2022.
"In short, the data indicates a very difficult environment ahead for consulting firms," said Erik Bradley, Chief Engagement Strategist at the technology market research firm. The announcement by Accenture highlights the ongoing challenges faced by the tech industry as businesses tighten their budgets amidst a global economic downturn.

2023.03.24 05:41 SSDuelist [US-TN] [H] Binders [W] Paypal, Binders, Holes in Inventory, Pre-Battle City Box Speed Duel Bulk
I'm okay with a little bit of leeway when it comes to Paypal (especially for some of my bigger wants) but generally I'm only looking to trade at this point in time. The Guu: - Binders
- There are multiples of many cards, including different rarities and printings - clarification about condition, set, and number available on request
- Some are a bit beat up, just to be warned - can provide closeups upon request
The Desires: Paypal is first and preferred.
Binders are also very much appreciated as well, show me what you got!
Really hoping to fill out my Speed Duel collection - check out what I'm looking for in the Speed Duels tab. I will happily take bulk Speed Duels cards from before the Battle City Box for my collection! Very big interest in filling the holes from the last few sets: - Main Sets - BACH, DIFO, POTE, DABL (looking for completion on Tear, Spright, Kashtira, Bystial playsets)
- Side Sets - TAMA, LED9, AMDE (looking for completion on Runick, Vaylantz, and Labrynth playsets)
Finally, I have a
master list here - if you have any curiosity on what I need, the red box in the
Index tab is editable by anyone and can be used to search by set for any cards I may be looking for.
The Guidelines: - Many cards are LP or better, but as mentioned there are some beat up ones. I will do my best to mention those when requesting closeups.
- Any transactions involving cash will be 85% TCGPlayer Item Only prices unless otherwise stated (cores, bundles, etc.). Card to card trades will be done on a 1:1 pricing. I will do my best to make sure I give you a good deal on something if it's beat up - I'm more interested in getting rid of stuff than ripping anyone off.
- Would request that orders be a $10 minimum for shipping ease; if under, $1 add on for S&H
- All orders over $40 will be sent in BMWS unless PWE requested - $4 add on for S&H on anything under $40
- If unclaimed in 24 hours, I'll put them back into the pool
- Feel free to ask about anything else! I can't guarantee I have it but I have an entire collection and am more than happy to at least check if I have something you might be interested in, with pictures available upon request. I would just ask to keep anything extra as an add-on to a preexisting pending transaction, not as a separate order.

2023.03.24 05:26 2023Civic My $30k ended up costing $45k after "accessories"
CA.
Got a new '23 Civic yesterday, after almost 2 years looking forward this card. I saw the car on a local dealership's website (listed value $30,225), got in touch with the Dealer and asked if the website listing were up-to-date, and Dealer said "Our website is pretty accurate as well". I passed by the dealership on my way home, 9pm, and to my surprise it was still open.
Long story short, dealer run my credit, came back with the numbers. APR was very good, but Total financed value was $37k (and that after a $8k trade-in), so I would be actually paying $45k for it. I asked why, Dealer gave me a paper barely descriptive:
- About $5k in taxes and processing
- $3,000 in a maintenance package
- $5,390 for pre-installed accessories
- $995 for GAP protection
First I asked what was GAP protection, he said "well, uhm, it's kinda complicated, but in short, I'd you Total your car, your insurance may not pay for it, and you lose your car and still have to pay for it. GAP protection prevents this". I didn't quite understand, but was too afraid to take it off and regret it in the future.
Then I asked about the accessories. He said they were pre-installed items that comes with their cars, I ask if he could take them out and he said "Not really, those are already present in the vehicle, I can't take them out". He kinda explained vaguely what they were, but mostly protective packages. A small sticker beside the Monroney Label descibred them as:
- $995 Clear Shield Package
- $1595 Theft Patrol
- $1295 Pro Pack
- $1495 Kornerstone Appearance Protection
10:30pm, at this point I was very frustrated with all the costs creeping up, and tired from working since 6am, I said to the Dealer I would go home and sleep on the number. He was hesitant and insisted "what's wrong? Can't I just get your business today?" And I started to think that if I came back today, the car could not be available anymore or I could not have the same financing offer after another hard credit pull.
I just wanted to get the car and go Home. Asked him to take away the $3k maintenance-whatever package so I could just close the deal and go home. He asked me "why?", I said I was not interested, and he went on to get his manager to "see what he could do for me".
Oh boy. I kid you not, his manager spent the next 75 minutes trying to convince me to take any Extra support package, because if I don't did it, I would be very regretful. I told he about 8 times that "I am not interested in this" and he always replied "but why? Tell me why? I'm trying to help you here and you don't tell me why". Then he would change the package and offer me again in a different Monthly price (which I could mot care less about it, I was only concerned on how much I would be owing to the bank). He finally gave up, and we carried on to sign the papers.
Past midnight, sleepy and with a huge headache, I signed everything, moved my stuff outta my trade-in to my new car, updated my insurance and drove home. Today em when I woke up I was reviewing all my documentation, when I realized 2 things:
- I was not charged $30,225 for my car, but actually $32,045. I don't know why this happened, you can even go right now to their website and check (my car is still there, same VIN and everything), advertised price is $30,225.
- Some of those "included accessories" that were "already pre-installed in the car" are actually described in the bill as Optional Services, that being $1,595 Theft Patrol and $1,495 Kornerstone AP. I don't know if that means that these are standalone services they were able to take it off as I requested, and refused, or if these are indeed included in the car and cannot be taken off.
I'm aware that since I already signed the papers yesterday, there isn't much that can be done now, but I would like to hear from you guys if this is common or I just have to accept my nativity and be punished for not triple-checking everything.
Thank you.
Ps: CA taxes were based on the Car + Accessories

2023.03.24 05:24 _zeldaking_ We got there (decklist enclosed)
| [Scroll to bottom for deck tech] Some context: Cl ~2200, missing about 8 series 3 cards. Been playing since about the start of Savage Lands. Have played mtg and hearthstone for many years. Like most of this sub (or at least how I've parsed it), the grind this season has been a trudge of Shuri and Thanos nonsense starting at as low as like level 20. I was trying several decks to no avail, generally staying around level 40-50ish playing a smattering of Electro/Odin ramp and Drazoo. Playing what I believed to be the best pile for what cards I had at the time (0 playable series 4, 0 series 5 besides Zabu). She-Hulk showed up in my shop a few days before they implemented the new shop and token patch. Which is a card that I have been jonesing for for a long time. Before the Aero nerf, I used the above deck to climb to about 80. Having a hard time with an abundance of Shuri decks around then. Anecdotally I believe I only played against a handful of Thanos decks from 50-80. DECK TALK Sunspot: I did come across a lot of killmonger decks. The plan when you understand that they have killmonger (Sera Control, Destroy varieties, nova usage, Thanos, Silver Surver decks, etc) is simply to soak less. The decks that play killmonger generally try and play them t5/t6 most often t6 trying to catch you off guard, they telegraph by a timely snap. This card is really good in this deck. Unless you play t4 White Queen or Lizard+Scorpion (which I rarely did), then t4 is a pretty happy soak turn. t5 is almost always a soak for two and Wave (see below). Resulting in a 8-10 power sunspot in most games. Lizard: Good two drop. If its a deck that you know will fill basically the whole board, its generally better to play scorpion or soak. Play him smart, and he is one of the better two drops in the game for sure. When I see people play Zero into Titania, I snap (kidding, but still, why use two cards??). Wave: The big combo of the deck and what makes this deck so freaking strong is the t5 Wave float(soak?) 2 and pass. If you have She-Hulk, she now costs 2 (6 -> 4 - 2 = 2), and you have 4 to play any other card. The deck is unplayable without her, and I almost never played her before t5. Not only does she help your combo for t6, she harms the decks that are waiting till t6 to flood the board. t5 wave made a lot of opponents scoop. Not joking, a lot. Play her safe, I for sure lost to giving my opponent a free Death, or a discounted She-Hulk. But more often than not, its a solid t5. Mister Fantastic: Filler 3 cost. Along with nightcrawler, generally good filler that helps me contest every lane and helps push wins in unplayable zones. When the hot location was Astroid M, I cried for until it went away. Never took him out though. Shang: Along with Aero helped fight against Dino decks and Shuri. t6 Shang + She-Hulk is a solid line that catches people off guard. I won my last 99 into infinite game against Shuri by doing this. I would say this slot coulllllld be replaced (along with scorpion). Shuri decks do what Shuri dos, Shang cant win all of them. Maybe Cosmo? White-Queen: Helps push 6 into a lane, however I used her more often than not to get information for t6 calculations. She is the best t4 play for the deck, and I generally would put her in a lane to make my opponent guess if I was going to push that lane. Solid. The big sad: Aero. I almost stopped playing the deck with the nerf came out, I believed (or heard a lot of) that she was going to fall out of the meta, and wasn't worth playing. (I mean, the only right choice is to play Shuri, amirite?) Overall, I generally didn't play her much. Mostly against a t6 Taskmaster or t6 Arnim Zola. A handful of times I would pull the t5 Shuri play into the un-Armored lane so I could Shang t6. Beware the Shuri decks that skip t5 to t6 She-hulk plus Taskmaster. Makes a t5 Aero the biggest sad. Doctor Doom: I can't count how many times I t6 Doom + She-Hulk and easily won all three lanes. This decks curves decently and puts pressure on all three lanes pretty well. Doom is sometimes unexpected for people, he is just very solid and probably my favorite card in Snap. Chavez: Just to ensure your t6 She-Hulk has something solid to pair with. I only did this a few times. She-Hulk: Deck is 1000% unplayable without her. Soo many opponents snapped against t5 Wave + pass. Only putting 3 power into play on t5 tempts those bots, and real players alike. People forget that this is a play, and its so hard to play against. I basically always knew if I was going to win or lose t6. Overall thing(s) I learned: Don't be afraid to retreat. I basically only lost one cube everytime I lost a game. I for sure got greedy and lost 8 cubes everyonce in a while however. But almost always won 2 or 4 cubes. If you are ever in a 50/50 shot to win or lose 4/8 cubes, you will always lose. Hah. I swear those are how the odds work. Retreat in those situations, losing 1 is wayy better than losing/winning 4 cubes 50% of the time. Be willing to set the game down. When you are on a losing streak, it'll keep going. At the end of the day, it's a game and when you are having fun, you'll win more. The hardest deck to play against was the darn Patroit decks. I don't know why, but I swear they had the nuts everytime. I would rather play against a more telegraphed Shuri deck. However they generally snap t5 if they have the perfect t6. Thanks for reading. Cheers. submitted by _zeldaking_ to MarvelSnap [link] [comments] |
2023.03.24 05:24 SmallRefrigerator63 Been on multiple SSRIs and SNRIs, nothings working. Got rejected from an endocrinologist yesterday. Doctor upped my Cymbalta from 60 to 90mg today.
I'm 22 years old and have been on medication combination of Mirtazapine 30mg and Cymbalta 60mg for the past 5 weeks with no success. I was on escitalopram (progressed to 40mg over time) from June 2020 until about 5 months ago. It worked for just over 2 years, I felt awesome. Stopped working however in September last year. My doctor agreed to help me taper off Lexapro with Mirtazapine and try something else. Since then I have tried multiple SSRIs and SNRIs. All with bad side effects. Then my doctor prescribed Cymbalta finally as he was worried about the lengthy withdrawal time. He said give it some time before it kicks in. I had read good things about it so I was hopeful. Past 5 weeks the medication has done absolutely nothing except increase the brain fog. After a 2 year break from Uni (due to online from Covid) I started back up 3 weeks ago. I've been experiencing noticeably worse brain fog (concentration and memory are shot), increased dark existential thoughts and worst of all the crippling anxiety. I find myself start to sweat and blush when talking to anyone in class. I don't drink or take anything other than the medication I am prescribed. My GP recommended I got some blood tests. Free testosterone came back at 136 and then 210 two weeks later. My doctor two weeks ago referred me to an endocrinologist, he said "in my experience I haven't seen someone unable to get on trt with levels like yours". So I was hopeful, until yesterday. My dad came in with me, I explained my situation to the endo and he said "you are too young. In a few years time from now you're going to come back and blame me for being infertile" laughing and looking my dad in the eyes. I broke down in tears in front of him. I explained if going on trt made me feel better but it meant I couldn't have kids I would make that decision any day of the week. I understand it means I would have to take it for the rest of my life. I am willing to make that sacrifice. He said "I think you need to go to a hospital" my dad was quiet just consoling me. He further said "I've got a really good psychiatrist you can see who will be able to work closer with you and sort your medication out. I think this is what you need. In my experience mood and testosterone go hand in hand with each other. If we can get your mood right I guarantee your testosterone will go up. But take a blood test next Monday. Then one 4 weeks later and then another 8 weeks after that and if your levels are still at a similar range you can come back and we will look at injections twice a day". I'm thinking, wtf is going on. I'm after a once per week injection of Enanthate or Cypionate to combat the depression and anxiety, get rid of this shitty brain fog and get my life back. I saw my family doctor desperately today after crying all night last night feeling hopeless. He said he can't give me T and that the endo messaged him expressing his concern, and if I go to more endos they'll likely say the same thing. He proceeded to print out another 30mg script of Cymbalta and said cut the mirtazapine in half tonight and add 30 mg to your 60mg dose of Cymbalta, hopefully you'll experience less brain fog. Come back next Monday in 3 days, we'll see how you're feeling and hopefully I will have heard back from the Psychiatrist. If things get worse, I'm in on Sunday.
I would never take my own life. But I feel like I'm only existing for my family. The thing that was keeping me going was the idea of getting on trt. Couldn't give a toss if I can't have kids. Better cognition and mood etc, it would be worth it. I'd jab myself 10 times a days if I had to, to feel better. I'd be able to get off these shitty medications too. Going to a hospital is off the cards. I've just got a new job over the weekends and I'm studying every other hour of the day.
If anyone has any advice, I'd really appreciate it.
