I assume one has a sharper angle, but which is which? Further confusing me is that the #5 comes with 3 pieces - must they all be used?

I’m a field tech, half the time I’m on the road doing service work, the other half the time I’m in the office. I also do the main sysadmin role for the company. I find it hard to keep track of everything, especially as my role in the company expands. I write calls on sheets of paper, notepad documents, ticket notes, whatever I can get my hand on at the time as sometimes I get calls on the road while driving, at a customer location or at home and I don’t always have access to the ticketing system or a OneNote file which is where I’d like to store everything. Is there a method to the madness of documentation? Is it just that my boss needs to allow the 30-60 minutes a day for me to breathe and actually write things down? I feel like I’m running in circles here.

I am curious about something. What work can someone throw at you using your own bathroom/toilet?
I have noticed when this particular person comes to my house, they will without fail use my bathroom and stay in there for a long time. It doesn't matter if they are only around for 2 minutes, they always ask to use the bathroom and even though they are in there for a long time, the bathroom never seems 'used'. However, I have noticed things start shifting in my house shortly after. Things start breaking, I feel tired and drained, I hear noises in the house and notice weird s*it. I don't like people at my house but this person literally turned up at my house unannounced last time and made up an excuse of been in the neighbourhood and yup asked to use the damn bathroom. The energy shift I felt after nearly had me losing my mind - I went to a depressive dark and anxiuous mood overnight, am still taking spiritual baths to cleanse myself and cleansing my house.
Is there a way to see what they may be doing in this bathroom? I have looked everywhere, including the water tank thing on the toilet but can't find anything out of the ordinary. This is surely not a coincidence.

It’s hard to find information online if I can conceal carry to these locations without a cow license. One cop told me to and from range is allowed, and a gun store said to and from the store was allowed, but I want to make sure this is still accurate and not old prebruen info.

A bit of context, I am relatively new to the IT field, I do not have any certifications or degrees, but I do have 3 years of experience at one company with near perfect yearly reviews. I also have previous experience from when I was younger, I have installed cable and internet for both residential and businesses for several years. Often fixing clients computer issues and network issues when they asked, as a side job for extra funds and just cause it was fun to learn how to fix new computer issues. So I do have experience just not really something I can put on a resume. Ever since I have always been into computers and continued to learn more on my own.
3 years ago I was asked by my now manager to apply for the first open position for IT Analyst at my company in the east Texas area. I was then currently employeed at the company in a sales position at the time. I have always wanted to work in the IT field, just never got the opportunity to get in the field and didnt have the money or time to get a degree or certification.
The position was first posted with a range of 55-65k through email. After I interviewed and was chosen out of both internal and external candidates, I was offered 48k. I asked why it was lowered and was told it was due to my limited experience in the field. I checked my email again and found the new posting for less, maxing out at 55k. Since I always wanted to work in the IT field I accepted and figured I could prove my worth with real experience in the position, which would allow me to move up, or eventually move on to a new company that would pay me appropriately.
After 1 year my boss starts having me do Cybersecurity related tasks as he thought I'd be a good fit. He kept pushing me towards the position and told me he'd push my salary as far over 60k as he can. So after 2 years of being the IT Analyst and 1 year of doing Cybersecurity tasks during that time, he promotes me to Cybersecurity Analyst during my yearly review. The pay was 58k with the 2 years of raises included. I felt great I proved myself and showed that I had the skill set and knowledge to be a Cybersecurity Analyst. However I also felt like I was being underpaid and not appreciated for how hard I work. I wear multiple hats at the company and do way more than just Cybersecurity tasks.
After doing some market research it seemed like the median pay for my new current "Cybersecurity Analyst" position was around 64k with 2 years experience and just a high-school diploma, no degree or certs.
I talked with my boss after doing the research. He said the company wants me to get a certificate to get me to 64k, however if I do that then they won't give me a raise for 2 years he informed me cause that counts as a yearly raise. That would then set me back again to where I am feeling like I would still just be underpaid.
As far as job duties questions goes. I did 80% of the Cybersecurity Analyst job tasks for a year without any extra pay and also did some tasks within our development teams realm, and also within the network side. I love to learn so didnt mind. However, we are only a company of 200 people so there isn't a specialized role for everything leaving our IT department workers wearing multiple hats touching on more than just their job position entails. After talking to my boss about wanting to be paid a fair wage especially since I'm doing more than just my own tasks, he told me that this is what the IT field is like and everywhere you go they'll make you wear multiple hats and give you tasks that are not inside your scope without compensation and basically told me I'll have to get used to it.
Is this normal for IT workers to have to do more than what's in their realm for their job position? Or is it only like that at smaller sized companies? Our companies gross income monthly is multimillion so we are only small in employee size, not earnings. My question for salary is am I wrong about how much I should expect to be making as a person with my experience in my field?
I just feel underpaid for how hard I work and how much I have to do for the company and just want to see if my perspective on my situation is wrong. Any knowledge and advice would be greatly appreciated. :)

Hello, basically there is a community of people who like to collect these things called "BLIND BOX" it is a type of sealed packaging that keeps what's inside a mystery until you open it. These can vary in rarity/popularity. Sometimes they sell figures as limited editions etc. (Bear Bricks, POP Mart &Funko pops) feel free to google image.
These are the sort of things I want to open a store for and sell. The overall idea is to have vending machines that vend mystery boxes, or sell individual ones as part of sets and even sell single figures that could range in price and size based on its popularity and rarity
I am currently 25years old, and I want to understand the limitations of opening a business under this field?
Where do currently sellers get the products? Do they buy directly from manufactures or is it the matter of buying retail and then reselling at a higher price? or is it both?
profitability of this type of business? Do you think its good in the long run or short? (if there's hype, there's a market No?)

Oh wow where to begin. I guess a little about me. Born and raised in and around the Seattle,WA area my whole life. I love it here and it's so beautiful in Washington, but I feel a bit like I can't WAIT to get out and travel more. I have so much of the US still to see and the rest of the world. Have only been to Canada, Mexico and the UK.
Recently as of the beginning of this year I went through some rough stuff and decided that I needed change in my life. I was getting ready to move to London but things fell apart. So I packed up my stuff and moved across the state to a little town near the border of Idaho called Liberty Lake. It's sort of out in the country/mountains and is very different from Seattle...but so far I love it here. Making friends though in your 30's has proved to be a little bit challenging as I try to not hit the bars all the time anymore. I've undergone a few back surgeries and I'm really focusing on getting stronger again and being slim and fit. It's gonna be my ticket to happiness as I get older. Was finally able to get off the opioids after 7 years.
I have two black cats and am hoping to get a dog maybe later this year or next year. I love guitar and have played since I was in middle school...though I just recently started signing. One of my bucket list things is to finally get up and try open mics for the first time. Baby steps haha. I used to snowboard a lot until I get seriously injured, so I don't do that as much. But I love hiking and being outdoors. The nature here is amazing and there are mountians and lakes, trails and everything you can think of doing out here. I definitely don't miss Seattle for now.
Im starting medical school in two weeks and am going to train to be a medical assistant. I'm going to be super busy but I'm looking forward to having a new direction and goal to focus on.

I always see this movie come up as recommended when people bring up 'lynch adjacent' stuff or ask for recs for movies like his work.
i watched it not long ago and hated it to be frank.. it felt like an extremely bland lost highway or mulholland drive. I mean there is nothing wrong with the movie it has perfectly serviceable visuals, acting, and plot but it just felt like an empty, boring affair of a film.
just wondering how my fellow lynch heads enjoyed (or not) it. I can only see it being particularly enjoyable if you haven't seen lost highway or mulholland drive..
this is definitely me being blunt and probably a bit of a bitch but it really just felt like dollar store lost highway to me with a tone similar to something like killing of a sacred deer in terms of visuals and atmosphere

Hi guys I just wanted to share my opinion on how much better Windows 11 Ghost Spectre VM is.
My specs CPU: Threadripper 1950X GPU: RTX 3070 and Quadro M2000 RAM: 64GB DDR4 2933MHZ
I have a UNRAID Server from where I have a few different services setup (jellyfin etc) and I wanted to try making a gaming vm because why not. So I have a look around and found that alot of people recommended steam headless as it used less resources, power and provided a better gaming experience. Well I gave that a go
Steam-headless was easy enough to download and setup the container and that was the only thing easy about it. I had wasted nearly 3 days trying to ensure games like miles morales, the last of Us and Evil West worked. Evil west was the easiest to setup but I couldn't get the last of Us and miles morales to run properly. It ranged from crashing on boot to crashing while my save was loading.Some of you guys might say try different version of proton, ge-proton or lutris but that didn't make a difference as i usually ended up with another issue. On top of the that I had various fps issues where the rtx 3070 should be able to handle up to 1440p 60fps Ultra settings for majority of games. It was barely holding 1080p 60fps high settings as I had major drops down to 30-40fps most of the time. So I gave up.
I then heard about windows 11 vm and gave that a go. I knew that in general windows 11 hogs alot of resources on the os itself so I had a look around for better options. Found a linustechtips video on the Windows 11 ghost Spectre edition and I tried that out. Well I'll be honest, every game worked out of the box and no more fps dps and stuttering issues. The best part was I was noticing a lower wattage from the VM when no games where being played compared to the steam-headless container. I noticed a reduction of 7w-15w of power used.
Both the windows 11 Ghost Spectre and the Steam headless were dedicated 6 cores 12 threads, 16gb of ram and ofc the rtx 3070.
Well I'll be honest if anyone is looking to setup their own gaming vm I would recommend giving OS's like tiny10 or Ghost Spectre a go and see if they would make a difference for you. Beware that VMs like tiny10 and Ghost Spectre remove alot of the core windows feature which in result have a weaker built in security, but for me I didn't really care as there isn't much personal data on the vm itself and is quite secluded with my local lan. Also the Windows VM will take the whole graphics cars and won't be shared with other containers or VMs.

hello! i’ve had my seconds pierced for nearly 6 months now, and while one side is fine, the other is not. it has on and off irritation and i’m going to florida soon so i went to see my piercer to consult her about what to do. she told me it looks irritated and to just baby it (yes, with saline spray!), and acknowledged that the backing could be irritating it and we could switch it out to a flat back.
however.. my ear is pierced at a 20g with a titanium butterfly back, and she only has 18 and 16g in flatbacks. stretching it could make the irritation temporarily worse but help in the long run.
i woke up this morning with puss and a little bit of redness, and it’s clearly trapping all of the goopiness in the butterfly back.
would switching it out help me despite stretching irritation? should i take the backing off and keep the jewelry in to clean the gross stuff off the backing? LMK!

My appointment is scheduled for the end of June of this year. You will have to pay $500 up front to secure your surgery date. You will pay the remaining amount during your pre op appointment.
Pre op appointment:
This appointment was quick and easy. He and his team are super friendly. During this appointment he explained pre op and post op instructions and he also took a quick look at my chest. Afterwards, I made the final payment. If you don’t live near the office, then your pre op appointment will be done through email.
He accepts cash, major credit cards, and few other lending options listed on his website. No insurance, no debit.
My surgery is in a few weeks so I’ll keep you all updated.

Me and my brother have 2 pc's and they were bought at the same store. I can run a program easily that lags his and I was wondering why. I checked the type of computer it was in settings > system and under your computer username and they're the same. The only difference is that his is white and mine is a black pc. For some reason he only has 4gb of installed physical memory and i have 8 and our processors are different too. Why is the reason for this when they're the same pc?

I know this question has been asked multiple times but long story short:
My gf(24F) and I (29M) have very different interests. I am a little bit older than her and I have a few years of being single and got to explore and develop hobbies such as camping, boating, snowboarding, biking, kayaking, parasailing, etc. we started dating while she was still in college and I tried to get her to do these things with me but she didn’t seem to enjoy most of them. Even something like driving my convertible with the top down.
Now that she graduated and we moved in together. I feel like she didn’t have that alone time where she’s so bored that she has to find hobbies to fill in the time that I did.
We’re struggling to find new things to do together aside from the occasional hiking trips, playing video games and groceries/thrift shopping. I can’t totally fault her though because we’re in saving money mode as we have student loans and credit debt that need to be paid off so some of these hobbies need to be put on hold since they’re quite expensive.
The problem is I don’t know if this would improve once we are in a better financial situation. She’s not controlling in anyway and I’m free to do any of these things as I please as my “me time” but I also want to spend time with her and it would be nice if I could do these things with her. I know that we can find things we both enjoy doing together but I don’t get the feeling she’s willing to try any of the things I propose because “it doesn’t seem fun” for her. I’m always the try it and find out kinda guy and she’s more meticulous of what to do.
I want to marry this girl but there are some points idk if she’s even the right person
TLDR: we have different hobbies and mentality about life. We’re struggling to find common hobbies to do together but are also on a tight budget so trying new things can also be hard.

I have been working at cfa for about 3months now, and so far it has been great. The management at my store doesn't seem to have a lot of the same problems with favoritism and such that other stores I read about on here have. My scheduling has been whack though. I am available everyday all day and yet they only schedule me 5-10 hours in a week I usually work more than that because I pick up shifts but this week and other weeks there aren't many shift pickups available. I am thinking about quitting and finding a better paying(I'm paid $11hr) and better scheduling job, but I do really like this job so I'm wondering what I should do to make it obvious to management that this under scheduling is not ok. I have brought it up before, but I haven't had an in person talk with one of the directors about it so I am thinking I'll need to do that.

I recently moved to a new apartment complex and somehow lucked out because my building is right next to a pokestop and a gym! BUT, there’s one person with 6 Mystic accounts hogging the gym. My account is on Mystic so I’ve been wanting to get in the gym, but their pokémon will sit there for 2+ weeks at a time if left alone.
I trained up an Instinct account to lvl 22 or so to knock out their team. Whoever is holding those 6 accounts will keep feeding their team with golden razz berries so I can’t knock them out without help from a friend. One day, my friend and I managed to knock out their team and put our own in, but we got knocked out within minutes and proceeded to put their 6 accounts back in within 2-3 minutes of each other. It took 50(!!) minutes to get their team out thanks to all the golden razz berries.
So, I decided to knock out just one of their accounts, put one pokémon in, then let everyone be. Nope! this mf will go out of their way and use another account to knock my single pokémon in, then put theirs back in. I can’t win!
My understanding was it’s common courtesy to let others sit in the gym for 8 hours or so to get the 50 coin max, then take turns knocking each other out so everyone can get their coins. This jerk keeps knocking me out within minutes so I only get 1-2 coins. This gym hogger has me so tilted I honestly wanted to delete the app and never think about this again. This person also has 3-4+ accounts in nearly every nearby gym. I’m tired of it. My neighbors whom I’m friends with have complained about the same issue and don’t know who it can be.

So. I don't know about what can really be considered safe while hopping frieght but i'mma try out an idea I had eventually do before I do I think I should make sure im not a total wingnut. Either way I guess it'll work until it doesn't, when (not if)I do try it, but hear me out right quick.
I know someone who was raised in the Amishlike community I can't spell that starts with the M, and they were taught how to sew correctly and what not,so I can trust the work to be done correctly. I was going to have them attach straps to my bibs that could easily hold my weight plus an amount of g force to be decided after I research train derailment and other relevant information so I know roundabouts what to expect up to where the g force is going to kill me anyways,successfully attached or not(within limits reasonable to expect without derailing, if derailment occurs i feel the straps arent what keeps me from dying). Testing out their durability by hanging off random less dangerous stuff around town should let me get to safe enough to try on trains. after testing and I know I won't unattach from the car if I hit a bump or slack action jerk a me around good,unless i have a real problem like derailment I should be safe cause I'll need more luck then straps I would think if im a strapped to a car that derails. But my question is, am I missing something? No one has called me stupid for thinking I could do it yet, but I don't know if they realise I'm 100 percent serious about modifying my bibs in a way that'll improve my ability to ride suicides without danger and i could even sleep safely no worries. Part of my reason is I hate sitting around a hop for days and something stops but all you can get on while it's sided out is suicide and you cant find a rideable,I was taught suicides should be avoided, with or without a dog and to be super careful if your forced into a situation where you have to ride one and never try to ride suicide with a dog you want to keep unless you can carry it while keeping a solid hold of things and you cant sleep on a suicide safely. I've heard about finding something in the yard or near the hopout like a piece of wood and wedging it into a place where you can use it to ride suicide but I feel like that's kinda hot and easy to get spotted like that and you could hide easier without wood and just strapping to the car, if done right maybe even safely riding as you would be on a grainer porch or maybe even safer then some cars?maybe opens the door to all cars having a similar safety level for someone who is prepared and has no dog.If it works well enough maybe I can figure out how to make one for dogs that's just as safe too. That sounds like the harder problem out of the two ideas if i had to guess.
But really what do you think, is it safe? or is it just 100% a bad idea? Maybe you think you could do it better your way? Enlighten me so I can try to improve the idea and continue living as a single chunk of not piecemeal person. I got the balls to try it but the brains to ask around and make sure I'm not overlooking something, before I do. Also if you think canvas (duck canvas) isn't strong enough what cloth is? what would be the best option and how much would it cost to get bibs made out of it? Carharts are made put of duck canvas im told. Possible stronger option would be using climbing rope and making a harnesslike reinforcement or even getting a climbing harness and fusing it to your bibs or attaching the straps to the nearness instead of to the bibs( I think I would like to have it being a feature of my custom bibs I made opposed to using a climbing harness to hop frieght) Sorry for rambling but with this being super not safe if done wrong, I don't want to forget any of my ideas about the possibilities of how to modify gear with wha, in which way so that I don't end up with it being a poorly communicated idea that gets misunderstood leading to my injury because of something being assumed because my inability to clearly Share my Idea. Also got any ideas how bibs altered for this purpose could be helpful in other ways to persons whom are traveling folk?if you knew you had no tunnels or similar dangers on your current route, You could use it to strap onto the top of cars and watch the stars with a full clear field of vision(maybe that's worth the risk to some people?) without risk of something throwing you off if something goes wrong leaving only the two windows of time it takes for getting into position and strapping in as well as unstrapping and dismounting for you to be in danger of being thrown. like it would be safer i guess, but i dont know if id say it was safe, more less dangerous maybe, i dont feel safe surfing,im not a fan, maybe with the straps i wouldnt expect to die as much and i could get closer to finding the top of a car a place i could ride but I still think I am not willing to take up stargazing as my new happy hoppy hobby. Suicide rides though...
