Chadworth Broington III - heroic Paladin idiot
Chadworth Broington III - left as an infant on the steps of Star Lanes monastery to be raised by the bowling-loving monks because he was deemed too "special", Chadworth, or Chad for short, graduated at the age of 15, against all odds, despite his limited intelligence but aptitude for accidental problem solving.
A tough battler with a child-like wonder and heart of gold, many he's crossed paths with wonder how the heck he's survived out in the wilds on his own for so long...
Accidentally discovered he was Aasimar whilst seemingly falling to his death into a bottomless pit, the spectral wings saving him, much to the surprise of the rest of his party, not least himself.

Married the minor-celebrity Tiefling Bard, Kaku Shitsu, current whereabouts of both unknown, though it's rumoured they accidentally became king and queen of a tiny village a few miles south of Phandalin.

Slightly odd request but does anyone manage to grab a dunkin bucket hat that they don’t want? I went to their pop-up around 3 and half of it was closed. I would wear that goddamn thing every day. Happy to cover shipping + throw in a few extra for your troubles.

2023.05.28 14:20 AChilly98 My opinions from last night, absolutely no one asked for…

On the negative side: - My biggest frustration… why bring a piano along to blow Bach and prelude, but not actually use it in a song 😫😫 - Lack of riffs/outros, they are one thing that really made a muse show a great experience - so I’m sad there aren’t any now! - I like the odd song with matt just on vocals , but the the energy when he’s on the guitar is so much better! So I wish he spent more time on the guitar!
On the positive side: - it was a bloody incredible performance! Ultimately, the songs are still great songs and the energy and sound, with the light show is a fantastic experience! - whilst I share the general frustration of set lists, I’ve come to terms with the fact realistically, us more “involved” fans only make up a small portion of the fan base - so the bigger songs make the show more involved for all fans including the casual fan! (And it’s noticeable by who was singing and dancing along to some songs, as some didn’t even know bliss around me last night!) - the fact I got to see Bliss live gives me immense joy, more than I can ever describe. - the new album songs (that were played) all go hard live! - the warning and royal blood are also the best set of support acts I’ve personally seen (albeit I’m already a massive royal blood fan too!)
Again, these are all my opinions no one here asked for 😂 but let me know your thoughts, I’m always intrigued to here what people thought!

2023.05.28 14:17 Devine_Beauty [F4M] looking for long-term, detailed and romantic roleplay.

Hello lovelies,
I’m a 19 year old female and I’m still in college, studying nursing. I want to specialize myself into wound care in the future. Besides college I still have a lot of free time left! I want to fulfill my free time with writing stories. I am in CET time zone, but I don’t have a requirement for my partner, I’m up at very odd hours. I’m a night owl, haha.
I'm looking for an OCxOC [F4M with me playing as the female] story. I only write in 3rd person, past tense, and I want a writing partner who does the same. I can write up to 6+ paragraphs, and 1500 - 4000 words. I put a lot of effort into my replies, and a lot of details. I’m a very flexible writer and I’m open to anything! I absolutely love romantic, angsty and drama stories. They are my favorite.
Lately I’ve been craving a college based roleplay.. Along with a childhood friends to lovers story, MMF love triangle, enemies to lovers or a forbidden romance. We could combine some of these ideas, or some of your ideas if you want to. Like I said, I’m open to anything!
Feel free to send me a DM if you’re interested.

2023.05.28 14:17 WeakSand-chairpostin (30f) I am an objectum sexual who is in a para-social relationship with the electric chair from Sing Sing Prison in New York and also the electric chair currently at Riverbend Maximum Security Institute in Tennessee.

It started when I was around nine years old. Growing up in Florida I'd heard about the electric chair many times. But for some reason, it just seemed mythological to me. As if it were something that parents made up in order to help prevent their kids from becoming criminals. It just did not seem real too me. A chair that kills you when you sit in it? No, that's made up, I thought.
At around that age, my parents didn't give a crap about me having a bedtime. I had a TV in my room next to my bed and I'd often stay up until some ungodly hour of the morning and watch TV. I'd end up watching things which in retrospect were really not age appropriate. One of the movies I ended up watching was the Bundy movie.
I was terrified when I was watching that movie. It made me resent serial killers. I couldn't believe how cruel this man could be to kill women. As a girl, this scared me even more, knowing that there are really monsters such as him and something like that could happen to me.
My disgust and fear quickly turned into amusement when I got towards the end of the movie and I saw the electric chair scene. The chair was real! It isn't a myth! I was so happy and morbidly curious at this point. I knew it was a movie, but I also knew it was based on real events so I was curious how this chair would kill him after he sits in it.
It was so funny seeing this murderer who thinks he's so tough, lose his shit to the sight of this old wooden chair. He's going to die. How? Not by being stabbed by another inmate. Not by dying of old age or disease...no! He's going to die from sitting on a chair. That's just hilarious to me. He became the electric chair's prey. It's also amusing just because of how unusual it is. When you think of a chair you think it's something to sit and relax in. But not THIS chair! You cannot sit in it! Because if you do, it'll electrocute you and you'll die!
It's oddly romantic in a way, to me. When a prisoner is strapped into the electric chair it's almost as if the chair is hugging them or something. But in a twisted way. The chair doesn't want to let the prisoner go, it wants to inject its juice (electricity) right through their body, whether they like it or not.
As I got older I enjoyed researching electric chairs in my free time. I see people tend to personify electric chairs a lot, sometimes even giving them pronouns such as ''he'' or ''she''. That just makes them seem more...alive? In a way, compared to ordinary chairs (which I have no interest in, I'm specifically into real electric chairs, located at real prisons!)
I love the Sing Sing electric chair. I think he's the most adorable one, even though he's killed the most people out of any other electric chair (614 since 1891!). The Riverbend one, Old Smokey, has only killed 6 since 2007. I love how sexy the Riverbend one looks. I love that huge leather backrest, those car seatbelt straps, rather than the incremental leather ones the Sing Sing chair uses. I love the junction box and the fact that the Riverbend chair's ankle electrodes (yes, there are two, rather than just one!) are actually built into the structure of the chair itself.
Been into electric chairs for a really long time, haven't told anyone I know in real life about it though, so this site is my outlet!

2023.05.28 14:16 NIK999P Will this ever end? Can someone really say that they have been cured ?

Yesterday was again a bit odd, the feeling of being breathless, or you can say I feel just unable to catch a relaxing breath from my stomach. It's so silly and yet it's just enough to make you feel so scary and panicky, I still don't know if I subconsciously triggered it or I am just hell bent on the vicious cycle of random symptoms, and what really annoys me that sometimes I don't even have any anxious thoughts and still things are getting triggered. And these are not just like normal anxiety, these are actual symptoms which are holding my life back. I randomly feel vertigo, nauseous , and the attacks of extreme weakness and panic attacks, depersonalisation, derealisation and next thing you know it's a full blown panic attack on a bigger scale. As if these are not enough now I sometimes feel like I am very uneasy in open spaces, it's like it is too much to process and I can make sense of things. Ik some of these are normal effects of having panic disorder, but this has made me so weak that sometimes when I try to workout I feel so dead that I feel like I will pass out.
I dont have any underlying diseases, I have gotten my blood work done and all the basic tests except Head MRI, at that point the doctor said its quite unnecessary because nothing is indicating that there is something wrong with your head.

2023.05.28 14:16 rabidcorpse WIBTAH if i call animal control on my neighbors rooster?

So i'm in an odd situation, Our neighborhood is not zoned for roosters but my next door neighbor has a rooster and some chickens that like to fly over into our yard, forage, and destroy our yard. We also have two dogs and they are pretty territorial with our yard and house. I know that roosters are also territorial, thing is ITS NOT THEIR TERRITORY. My neighbors have also waltzed unannounced into MY backyard to claim their chickens more than several times, a lot of the times while i'm in the backyard with my daughter or if i'm smoking the devils lettuce (i'm legally medicated though). Sometimes i pull off my shirt cuz i'm hot and i live in florida so it gets hella hot. There's also the fact that my cousin lives in the small house in our backyard connected to our garage and has literally opened his door to our neighbor standing right there. Here's where it gets tricky though, i have another neighbor that lives behind me who also has a rooster and chickens BUT takes very good care of them, clips their wings, and have never ended up in our yard. She LOVES those chickens and would be devastated if the city took them away. I'm torn in what to do in this situation because I don't want angry chickens in my yard but don't want the grandma to lose her chickens :(
WIBTAH?

2023.05.28 14:14 Saucy-ai-girls A curious realisation

I recently attended a presentation on supporting young LGBTQ+ people in education.
One point that was made was about how many terms there now are that reflect the different lives and experiences of different people within the community.
I reflected on what I had learnt, and realised that perhaps part of the fear of LGBTQ+ that exists in the, let's say, hetero-binary community is not entirely based on fear of the unknown, but rather fear of a challenge to the ability to hide behind a veil of hetero-binary 'normalcy', and not become subject to scrutiny.
For context, I am a cisgender heterosexual male. I'm mildly curious, but not enough to try anything out. I also have gay and lesbian friends and relatives, not that it matters.
In my life experience, I've seen many changes with the treatment of LGBTQ+ folk. When I was very young, we knew about 2-5% of the population were gay, but they were the most outrageously camp people. As I got older, this percentage increased, but not because of a net increase in homosexuality, but rather a net increase of people feeling safe enough to be honest about their identities. We knew that there were men who liked to dress as women, but not why, so they were called freaks or deviants, or worse (yes, worse) and this applied to many other... othered people.
Now we have a few degrees more acceptance and understanding, opinions have shifted positively, though admittedly not enough.
It seems that now the hetero-binary community is afraid that they will be labelled and divided, yet the potential for gain from it is rather good, after all, tinder would be easier if we all had letters of preference, etc. I mean, we already have letters... BDSM, for example.
People are odd.

2023.05.28 14:13 dotarollercoaster 8k MMR Nature's Prophet SUPPORT Guide - 62,5% Winrate - Master Prophet In 11 Minutes (Or Less)

So you want to learn how to play Nature's Prophet hard support?

With 1,6% pickrate in the Immortal bracket and 40.9% winrate. You must be crazy to think this is even a thing…or are you??
When patch 7.33 came in, I thought Prophet would be insane. I mean, really, now? 40% bigger map and global presence ain’t going to be strong? But as it turned out..it was not.
If you are a support player, you probably learned the hard way that in 7.33, experience was a luxury.

Now, Valve invented something insane in the last patch.

They added more objectives other than Roshan, like Wisdom runes and Tormentors. But for such a huge map, the lack of sentries and observers turned all of us into a non stop 5manning.
If you’ve seen this video on how to play support in 7.33 you probably know what I am talking about.

So, in reality, more objectives=less objectives.

Everyone is grouping up and 5manning. And then 7.33c came….And I saw this…
Wisdom runes in 7.33c give double the experience to your team
So I started playing Prophet support with only 1 game plan. Steal the enemy wisdom rune not only at 7 minutes in but every single one of them, and play around with this 5-man idea by buying all the needed auras depending on the game.
Sound pretty stupid. In fact, it is pretty stupid.

Currently, I am 10-6 with a 62,50% winrate with prophet hard support/support.

The games were played in the 8k bracket in the Europe region. Honestly speaking, it could be higher, but I am not the greatest NP player... at least for now.

In this video, we will go through.

  1. Starting items
  2. Laning Stage
  3. Skill build
  4. Gameplan
  5. Mid-game Itemization
  6. Friends & Foes
Oh wait! This only works only for you because you are "higher" rank player and players play better up overall.

Well…NO!

In fact, I could be better at the hero overall. The last time I played prophet was when I was ancient, back in 2019, and I was trying to snipe couriers.

Yes, I was THAT guy.

As a result, if I can pull it off versus the "higher-rank" players, you can also do that.
Before we start the video, I need to say that you need two requirements to play the hero:
1) Low level of micro
2) No skill
If you fulfill the above requirements, get prepared to learn how to play prophet support.

1) Starting items

Prophet is a right-click-dependent hero in the lane. I suggest picking up a blight stone, a sentry, a grenade, x3 tangos and filling up the rest with stats or faerie fire. Even if you play versus some kind of spammy hero like a Skywrath mage, I suggest you start with blight stone and bring the stick right after.
Exceptions for a stick are heroes like Bristleback (super spammy lane)

2) Laning Stage

Laning stage as Nature’s prophet is super simple. Here’s what you need to do, and this is the most important thing. You might need a bit of micro for that, but the more you play, the better you’ll become
Step 1: Summon treants
Step 2: Hit enemy heroes while treants are in front of you. Be really careful not to overfeed treants or position your hero wrongly. We are not as tanky as we would love early on
Step 3: Repeat. The idea is to push them back and slowly win the regen war by out-trading them.
Nature’s prophet is a great hero in the laning stage to push enemies back effortlessly and pick up the lotus that will give our lane extra consumables to apply the pressure. I really want to emphasize that for us to pull a Nature’s prophet, we need to deliver a solid laning stage.
While in the laning stage, you will get teleportation level 2.
Now teleportation, on level 1, has 36 damage on the first hit, 30 on the second, and 24 on the third. While the numbers are not great, having that much damage for 2-3, right-click means you can connect anywhere on the map, even early on secure the kill(midlane pre runes, is usually a good place to search early on)Get back to your lane by using scroll

3) Skill build

Talents:

4) Mid-game plan

Mid-game as Prophet starts really early on, even from 5 minutes. So the first idea is to see the situation in the mid-lane or the offlane. If it is going well, you should connect with him, your treants, and the catapult and try to take down the tower. The blight stone will also contribute a lot to this attempt.
Regardless if you succeed or not, it is super important to steal the enemy wisdom rune at 7 minutes in. Usually, players are not there at exactly 07:00.
The plan is to TP at 06:57, pick up the wisdom rune, then teleport to your offlane T2 to pick up the other rune. This will lead to a huge XP difference between the 2 teams and might even give you level 6. If not, connect with your team and try to siege a tower while trying to get your level 6.If nothing happens, retreat to the jungle, try to pick up some jungle items for your team, and always be ready to connect in case of an emergency.
In the mid-game, you always play around 5manning. You can TP to the enemy jungle and place some vision so you will see where enemies are and try to snipe them.
The way I think of Nature's prophet is more or less like my beloved Chen. A find Prophet slighlty better due to his global pressence, his global abilities (a fast level 6, can provide many kills early on) and the ability to pressure more early on as well as slighlty more gold than a Chen

5)Itemization

Overall, you could use Mek, Drums, Solar Crest, Crimson Guard, Pipe, Atos, Halberd and a good alternative to help you with team fights in Aghs! Nature’s prophet shard is really nice if you can get to pick it up for free, as the slow on the opponents is pretty annoying.
Lastly, never buy boots UNLESS you aim for Guardian Greeve’s or Boots of Bearing, and even then, pick it up lastly.

6) Friends & Foes

Overall, unlike Nature's Prophet core, you don’t have many mid-game “bad” matchups, but you really have a lot in the laning stage matchups.
For example, NP core has many "bad" matchups like Storm, Bounty, Spirit Breaker, and overall anything that can mess up with him globally when he tries to splitpushNature’s prophet has a hard time versus high armor heroes like Bounty Hunter or Legion commander where his Overwhelming odds get to deal more damage due to the extra treants.
In the mid-game, Spirit Breaker and Bounty Hunter are annoying, but I would not call them counters as support mainly because the amount of sustain we provide easily overlaps their damage. We focus primarily on grouping up rather than splitpushing
And this is where the guide comes to an end. I understand that people might be negative about that, and this is the reason why I played that many games. I felt 16 games, on my bracket with a hero I have no experty would be a good sample to see if it's even a thing,
Feel free to comment on the video.
I would be more than happy to answer any questions and explain everything in-depth in cases needed.

2023.05.28 14:12 ColdBlackWater Late-night pool party, mid-winter

My spouse & I had just moved into an apt complex in Ontario, Oregon, a month prior & were sitting in our living room, reading. We're middle-aged, and interested in paranormal, but never thought something this bizarre would occur in such an nondescript spot.
The complex was set up with the four buildings facing the center where the fenced-in pool area was. It being winter, the pool was emptied as winters in eastern Oregon are frigid at BEST, and brutally cold.
This was in late February-early March of 2012. The air was crisp and clear, the temperature around the 20s Fahrenheit. It was approximately 10pm, and we heard conversation outside. Paying no heed, we continued reading.
But as time went by, it seemed more people were appearing to 'join in' the conversation. After 1/2 hr, it seemed a lively 'party' was taking place. We looked up, quizzically commenting on the oddity of the time and temperature, but soon returned to our books.
After another 10-15 minutes, it grew exponentially louder & louder. It sounded as though 15-20 people were outside, talking and laughing and generally having a good time.
We sat there frowning at one another until, finally, my husband got up and walked to the door and stepped outside. Oddly, as soon as the door opened, all went deathly silent. He stepped out, and shut the door behind him to keep the warm air in and the frigid air out. He was gone for a few minutes, and walked back in with a look of incredulity on his face.
He thought maybe someone had been on a balcony and we'd heard the echoes, so he walked out to the fenced-in area of the pool, and looked all-around at the darkened apartments of our obviously sleeping neighbors. No people, no doors open, no light-on, even. It seemed that we were the only people even awake at that time.
Was this a residual 'haunting'? A replay of a summer's evening from the past going through the motions of a time-gone-by? We never experienced this again, but I found it worthy of retelling here in this forum, and my hair tingles as I type...

Help ID my foster failure?
Addie Mae, the bestest girl! Fostered numerous dogs, she found a home with us. About 55#, 3 years old. Herds little kids, extremely prey driven, can catch a bird out of the air. Double coat, longish all over, hind legs super long if we don't trim it at the groomers (see last photo), tail with long fur, slight curl up.
We assumed aussie mix when we got her as a puppy, but she has outgrown the things that made us originally think that. She is super sweet and loving, except to other dogs not in our family. Loves alllll the people though. Brought from Kentucky to Illinois. Was on on a farm but given up because she kept eating the chicken eggs. She was extremely emaciated when we got her, about 15# at 7ish months.
Thanks for any suggestions or ideas!

2023.05.28 14:12 WeakSand-chairpostin (30f) I am an objectum sexual who is in a para-social relationship with the electric chair from Sing Sing Prison in New York and also the electric chair currently at Riverbend Maximum Security Institute in Tennessee.

He became the electric chair's bitch.

2023.05.28 14:11 sh00t1ngf1sh Should I do a CFA?

I did a bachelors in a science related field, worked in that industry for ten odd years but everything was more business related and sales and now I run my own business doing well and do property development and day trade/swing trade as a side investment. I do everything fairly well, I don’t do another field because I wasn’t good at the last industry. I’m very fond of finance/investing and would probably want to pickup on a job in this field once I get tired of the business and more more towards private equity which will deal with a fair bit on with some projects. We do quite a few investment property projects already and I help a lot as a consultant for other businesses. I know finance may take more connections than anything else but would doing the CFA Level 3 help job prospects at all?*****<——Question here. I’ve looked over the exams and is very much consistent with what I’ve been self learning over the past 4 years. I’ve read about 30 odd books in finance and will probably buy the CFA resource kit that is about $250.

2023.05.28 14:09 ShardAerliss Chicken Pendulous Crop & Suprelorin... strangeness

Hi folks. This isn't a major issue, just more of an odd mystery that has my exotics, but not highly specialised in chickens, vets stumped.
Species: Chicken Age: 6 Sex/Neuter status: intact, long term Suprelorin implant use Breed: hybrid commercial layer Body weight: 1.8kg ish History/Clinical signs: James (yes, she is female) is a rescue battery hen. She came to me 4.5yrs ago, so when she was around 18m, with a pendulous crop. It could not contract at all. I've managed it with all the usual things like diet adjustments, massages, anti-fungal creams, and a "crop top" she wears most nights and sometimes through the day (also recently started her on emeprid, 1ml q12h, and simethicone to relieve pressure from gas). She had a some other issues (kidney shaped eggs that were often massive double yolkers, a small mass of puss in a "dent" an inch or two into her cloaca) and so I opted to put her on suprelorin after about 6 months. The large size implants (12 month) last over a year for her.
I noticed that at some point her crop began contracting. I put it down to just healing from whatever trauma might have caused the problem in the first place. But when her suprelorin wears off her crop no longer empties at all over night. It just balloons up. Within 48hrs of a new implant going in, her crop starts emptying again.
So I'm really just curious about the mechanism involved here. My vets don't know, and aren't concerned given that the Suprelorin helps, not hinders. She doesn't lay when the suprelorin wears off. Her teeny tiny comb gets a little bit bigger, that's it.
I've got to take another hen for her final checkup at the vet school tomorrow after a big op, and will be asking them. I'll report back if they have anything to say, if anyone is curious. Duration: lifelong
Thanks in advance, and I hope you either know the answer, or it gives you something interesting to thing about.
