I am trying my best to use the little bit of knowledge I know about the faction and 40k as a whole. The ideas for scoring would be BEL,RBD, and I think Take them Alive!
I would probably try to take the middle of the board with some grotesques and wyches with the haemonculus hoping the durability and some obscuring cover will keep them safe while I try to advance and charge up the board on T1 to put out some damage with my characters hoping to make a bunch of things fight last and clear a flank. I might be thinking too far into this but this is the idea I am trying to go for. I am open to feedback and advance!

I’ve been single for the past 3-ish years and dated many women, some more seriously than others, mostly non-monogamously.
Five women that wanted serious relationships with me whom I also seriously considered eventually let it be known that they had a close man friend.
In two cases it was an ex. In three cases, it was an orbiter. From my perspective, they were basically dating these men but without sex, yet the girls all didn’t see this behavior as date-like or romantic in any way. No, they were “just friends.” They were emotional and practical support.
In one case, they would even travel together and share a bed like little kids, and supposedly not even cuddle. In all cases, they would have the guys help them around the house, cook/eat dinner together, and do things like go to jazz club dinner shows together, have deep conversations, and more, all while I was dating and vetting them for something serious.
Now when I see this phenomenon with a girl I’m dating, I’ll still be romantic, but it prevents me from taking her seriously as an LTR. “Plate her, don’t date her” comes to mind. It’s just a turn-off… an “ick factor” thing.

Someone close to me suffers from sudden mild, but still very worrying blood cough. They are healthy person with mild asthma. Blood cough had make them cough for over 3 weeks now and they did visit emergency care when it started. They checked heart and lungs and nothing dangerous did not show up. They haven't go back to get more tests.
I have myself been dealing with chronic pain, fatigue, malaise etc with +3 years now. I was mild first couple years. This last year have been very hard with my chronic symptoms, because I got difficulties to function nowadays even more. I have visited 4 doctors now inside of 6 months and no answers yet. And this human with acute symptoms knows this. But they commented: "Why should I go to doctor if you can sit with your symptoms for months on end? There is no reason to go if my cough is going away."
I can't force them. I aware of that. I just want to discuss differences between two types of symptoms. That's all.

I (30M) recently started dating a long time friend (29F). We’ve known each other for several years (~10 years) and have been in and out of touch throughout the years. A couple months ago we reconnected through social media and met up for drinks. Shortly after that, we went on our first official date. We have great physical and non physical chemistry and things have been going great. We’ve gone on several dates and have been intimate on most of those dates.
We’ve started having discussions on where we see this going. In the short term, we agree that we want to keep dating each other. In the longer term, I’d like to have a serious relationship with her but she’s a little bit more hesitant. She’s unsure if she wants a longer term relationship and is unsure if she can even love someone else. Shes not closing the door on a long term relationship, but she has a hard time envisioning her self with someone long term. Shes very independent and is the type that would be happy to live in the woods and not be around people. She’s been in several longer term relationships (2+ years) and has been engaged as recently as early last year. She ended the engagement last spring because of similar long term commitment issues.
I really like this girl and we’re both having a lot of fun in the moment. I just wonder if I’m wasting my energy if there’s no long term potential. Do we just stay the course and see what happens? Do I cut my losses and move on now?

How do I tell my biological father that I no longer want to speak or have a relationship with him without causing issues with my other siblings?
I didn't grow up with or knowing who my biological father was nor any siblings from that side. He and my late mother had a short lived relationship which resulted in me being born and then she for some reason breaking it off and leaving. I won't go into details of what I know on that as I've decided that things happened, people make bad decisions which don't necessarily sum them up as people.. and to leave it at that, I wasn't around to witness. I had no contact with that side until I was 20 y/o, but being I was a brown skinned kid in a white family I caught on at a very early age and began asking questions. I took the information I had and began searching as I wanted to find my siblings, I just wanted to know who they are, what they look like, if we were alike. Deep down, knowing my father was cool, but that was never what I cared about. I posted the info I had on a lost family/friend type forum like 14/15 years ago. Within 6 months, one of my sisters(40?f) stumbled upon it by merely searching for family member names while purely bored like we all have done and the posted info was eerily close. She searched my name, found me on Myspace and saw I looked EXACTLY like our brother(40?m) and messaged me. The rest is history. ---- Since finding them, I've had a decent but not so much a movie style happy ending type relationship with them. I'm totally fine with that, it's still... awkward, even after 14 years. I've physically met them no more than 3/4 times max(some only once), don't really talk or keep close to any of them aside from one sister(38?f(let's call her SIS)). SIS and I have grown fairly close, she's told me of their life and about folks in moderate detail good/bad... SIS has had a ROUGH life and still talks with me at least a few times a month. One thing to note is they all are mostly on the opposite side of the country with the closest being 16ish hours away. So visiting has always been extreme and only I have ever gone to them.
Also, it's important to note that not a single soul on that side knew anything about my existence before the miraculous discovery that day, although my father claims to have spent years trying to find me. I don't know if it's true, but if that was the case, somebody would know, right? Nobody did and they all were shocked, all 100+ relatives on that family.
Over the years, I have kept in touch with my bio father fairly well. Multiple times per year we'd have LONG 2/3 hour conversations, catching up, discussing family, funny/eery similarities, etc. There have been a few times that we had gotten into disagreements for various reasons. Once he tried to check me in a manner that I should respect him because he "is my fatheelder", because I said a cuss word, not at him at all or anybody, just something I was rambling on. I quickly/sternly shut that down, because in my eyes that dynamic doesn't exist. He called me "young man", to which I told him I raised myself practically from a masculinity perspective, figuring life out & to back the hell up.
I also started to pick up on manipulative tendencies from him over the years. Kind of in a way where if he didn't get his way or if I didn't fully agree with him on something he'd start to get a bit of an attitude, talking over me or even not considering a single point on I'd debate on. At least a few times if I hadn't been able to return his missed call for, let's say, half a day or two, he would proceed to blow mine and my wife's phone up with calls, voicemails and texts, kind of like a clingy/desperate EX. It didn't matter if I would text back and let him know I would or that, "Hey I'm super busy". If it wasn't when he wanted it, he would start up. Overtime, this gradually was more frequent even when we actually spoke more often during any given time period.
Years back, I did send him some cash as he needed it for a bit of food/small bills once or twice. January 2022, I did again, this time a few hundred. I then quit(unwisely) my job in March and was unemployed for about a month before I landed a new much better role and paying job. I was super happy and did boast just a bit to a few family members as well as my bio father because I felt really accomplished and excited to be able to do more for my family. In April, I found out SIS was in jail. Due to health concerns with her, and no help from ANY family member on that side after asking, I paid her bail, just shy of a grand. It was tough at the time due to recovering from unemployment, but I didn't want her in there any longer. But, SIS has tried to pay me back recently (last month)but I've asked her to use it for her kids instead, have some fun as well as get the help she needs, anything. She still mailed me a check for a portion cause she felt guilty, but I legit didn't care or even cash it, I'll live. She has been seriously trying and is really doing much better so that's another reason I'm ok with it and that I can trust her. Her kids are adorable and it's all her doing, she's a great mother.... Sometimes people make mistakes.
At the end of May, my father asked again for money. This time it was about $500 for a tax bill. Once again, still recovering from that period and helping SIS but I had it. I specifically told him I could help him. However, I genuinely and kindly requested that he check if anybody else was able and willing to help him and that if nobody could, I would do it 100%. In my opinion, that's totally reasonable and if the roles were reversed, I would be very happy to ask around, because I know I could fall back to him.
This is when he sent a long winded text to me. He stated that others have been doing what they can to "do their part" and that "you said you're making all that money and that you can help". Then said "nevermind, I'll figure it out, not going to rob a bank or nothing but forget about it". The tone of this text was clearly argumentive and in hindsight quite manipulative. He never asked anybody.
Don't know why but I proceeded to help him out, I think out of pure annoyance. He gave the info to login to the county so I could pay directly instead of giving him cash, so at least that wasn't a lie. Going forward, I tried to forget about it but couldn't. Then I spoke to SIS about it a few months later. She specifically told me that there were times that other family members had given him money to help buy HIS children stuff like clothes and school supplies. He would spend it on alcohol and even drugs to the point where the family would take the kids themselves to get what they needed which still wasn't enough but they tried. They couldn't trust him. I also recall another sibling saying something somewhat cryptic 10ish years back about not giving money to him and I didn't quite compute that entirely. I also know directly from him that he spent time in prison on drug charges. But it all clicked when SIS told me that last year, finally.
Since about October, I really just have no desire to speak with him. I haven't answered anything from him, he blows our phones up, just last week he called us 20 times in a few hours.
At this point, I have decided I just don't have the mental energy or care to speak with my father, because to me, what I've put together is more than just a mistake, it tells me he isn't the good guy he makes himself out to be. I've reached a point in my life that I don't have time for sources of negativity. Even on my mother's side, they committed an atrocious act by secretly burying her ashes against her final wishes with our grandmother (my mom died years before but we let Grandma keep the urn before we spread the ashes until she passed). She DID NOT WANT TO BE IN A COFFIN, she told me that, nearly with tears in her eyes before. They didn't tell us, we found out when the preacher said our grandmother was being lowered into the ground and that our mother was with her, right then! My brothers and I have totally cut them off.
I've been through alot myself, busted my fucking ass to get to where I am in unimaginable ways in order to provide everything for my wife and kids. I've shown people my resume and shared a bit of my life and almost everyone is shocked. I don't have the energy for much more than my wife/kids and they are all I care about and are all I WANT to care about. I am mentally exhausted, dealt with depression, physically roughed up. Sources of negativity need to be gone so I can focus on bettering myself and being a good example for my children and a good husband.
So, I'm just done with speaking to my Father, I don't care about him, like I couldn't shed a tear. Any emotions I express here are not because of him, it's because I want the negativity gone. Manipulation gone. Tantrums gone, my kids do enough of that, but they are children, they have an excuse. I don't know how to tell my father, don't know if I should call or even text, or if I should be 100% polite. Not sure at all how to proceed here and close this chapter and any advice or even criticism is appreciated. I know I'm not always right but I know what I want. One thing for sure is I don't want to cause collateral damage with my other siblings, I still would like to be siblings with them. I don't know how they'll take it and I'm sure that he will make it a sob story either way I try to do it. I can't make everyone happy though.

TL:DR: I don't want to speak to my biological father anymore due to manipulation, I don't have the energy for it anymore. But I don't know how to break it off with minimal collateral damage to other relationships with my siblings from that side.

I'm 39F, 5'8", mostly Chinese, from Southeast Asia.
I've had weird-smelling pee for about 2-3 months now. Very strong and pee-like, like old-pee sort. It smells bad.
I went to a doctor and he made me get a CT scan of my bladder, after a kidney / bladder ultrasound showed I had mild ureteropelvocaliectasia on my left side. I thought I had stones because I had weird peeing sensations, like a UTI feeling but no pain. Everything was normal on the CT scan except tiny clots or phleboliths in the bladder (supposedly normal but IDK) and cystitis. However, my tests showed no bacteria in my urine. My WBCs were slightly elevated (but I have a dental abscess waiting to be removed, that's another post. Or should it be?).
Basically I believe I got this general condition about 5 years ago before I gave birth to my second child. My pee I believe was very alkaline. They couldn't find bacteria either. I never got myself checked until 2 months ago.
My theory was that something was obstructing my pee from coming out, because it truly smelled like old pee. Now I'm not so sure. I haven't gotten around to really determining what makes it smell bad (I went on a 2 week fruit fast and it completely disappeared. My diet otherwise is vegetarian with the whole gamut of beans, leafies, rice, etc. I eat eggs.)
Now around this time my whole left side started feeling weird. As in, left sciatic nerve, the sides of my legs felt somewhat painful. This happens after I eat junk food (?). I don't really know. It comes and goes but I feel pretty ok for the most part. Sometimes I feel faint.
I've also gone to an acupuncturist, osteopath, everything. Wondering, is my left kidney compromised?
(The ultrasound says "An extra renal type of pelvis is seen" for the right kidney, if that is significant at all.)
What tests could I suggest to my doctor? He seems to be dismissive because I'm "young". Please help me!
I have dental surgery next week and am thinking of doing all fruits again as I felt very good in that diet.

He shoots like Brook or Yao with just no jump on his 3s. He gets at most 1 inch off the ground.
I think this actually really helps him with body control and consistent shooting motion. I think more players should copy the Nic Batum method.
I could see Dray shooting much better from 3 if he didn't jump so high on his shots. He lacks consistent form because the jumps are in consistent.
It needs to be like Nic where it's almost exactly the same like he would shoot a free throw but just further out.

Recommendation for all players who can't hit 3s. Try Nic Batum method of no jump on the 3s.

Part 1: Failure ... Again

So first, u/marlowe_caard and u/NaughtPlusZero, as well as other people from this community have applied to be moderators via redditrequest, and were all denied approval.

The reasons for some appeared to be the admins thinking the applicant was not suited for the role (no mod experience or maybe not enough karma, these are just my possible guesses) or, for those that were suitable, that at least one of current mods ( u/TheLunaRose or u/ImRoxBox) are still active.
Now, regarding what is considered to be inactive according to Reddit admins. According to the redditrequest FAQ:

Subreddits are considered eligible in the event that none of its mods have been active anywhere on reddit in the past 30 days. Anywhere on Reddit means anywhere! Solely logging in does not count towards activity. This 30 day rule does not apply to top mod removals.

Part 3: How Has This Happened

As I had already stated in the previous post, u/ImRoxBox does not have any activity listed for the last 2 years, and u/TheLunaRose has no activity listed for the last 8 months. So it is very clear that at least their publicly available activity shows they have been inactive long enough to be considered inactive. But the reddit admins have stated (at least in their response to the mod applications) that at least one of the mods is still active.
This raises a question as to how the mods are considered active. One possibility is that they are still communicating with other in dm's or messages. I'm not sure if this actually does count as activity, but if it does, that means that at least one of them is able to receive messages or dm's. However, both of them have received messages as part of the mod application process, and neither have responded to them. It is possible that they did respond to the messages and are just choosing to not do anything about the sub. That would be a bit disappointing, but I am less inclined to think that's the case.
So, how are they still considered active?
It might be the case that they have activity, which isn't public, or that there is some sort of moderating activity that is not public to others, but still occurs despite their absence.
I'm not sure what it is that still keeps them active, but if its the case that even after 8 months of no activity, that the admins still consider the moderators to be active, then I think we may not get any change of moderators any time soon.
I hope I'm wrong and maybe we get some change, but that could take a while.

Part 4: Moving Forward

Now, we, moving forward, can:

1. Continue applying via redditrequest until we have new mods
2. Stop attempting to get new mods, and just leave the sub be
3. Start a new subreddit

Alright, so for option 1, we would just continue what we are doing. If you have the necessary requirements for applying (500 karma, active in this sub, maybe previous mod experience), keep applying until we get a new mod. I don't know if this will eventually work, but we can keep trying.
Option 2, we can just stop bothering with it, but this is mostly up to the few people who are attempting to apply.

Part 5: New Subreddit, Oui et Non … !!!

So that brings me to the third option. We start a new subreddit.
So, I know that generally, or at least I think, getting new mods would not have a significantly drastic effect on the subreddit.
Most of the rules (if not all) would be the same, baring maybe a few added rules (completed audios of scripts not from that sub is an example), but that would be up for discussion first. The places they are written (on the side bar vs on a wiki page) might be something to consider. Maybe a guide related to sub. But probably most important is just removal of content not meant for this sub (this is fairly uncommon but still happens).
Therefore, the new subreddit will also likely be very similar to ASMRScriptHaven with little difference aside from having active moderators.
I have a poll asking whether we should make a new subreddit and start actively posting on there as well. It will last for 7 days.

Part 6: If We Do Make A New Subreddit

If we do go with that option, then, some things to consider.
I'd like to ask (only if you are comfortable with doing it) for script writers to post new script offers they write on the new subreddit, and if you decide, also older scripts. This isn't to say to only post there, but to post at least on both subs. I will also add that if you wish to both on both subs, consider posting some scripts on one ASMRScriptHaven, and others script son the new subreddit. These are only suggestions, post scripts wherever or whenever you wish.
As for script fills, for the time being, I would ask VA's to please only post script fills of scripts offers that are posted in the new subreddit. This applies even if the script offer allows for it to be posted. If a script writer wishes for fills of their script offer to allowed to post in the new subreddit, please post the script in the new subreddit.

This also means we would be sort of starting over, as the number of members would be 0 (well the top mod would be there, so I guess starting from 1). But it will increase over time (hopefully), and maybe might be the main sub used.
I will also post in the discussion flair a remainder about the new subreddit, and encourage people to use that one. Maybe once or twice a month, I'm no too sure about how often, but I'll make sure to not do it too frequently.

This is of course if we do decide to maybe start using a different subreddit more, and gradually use this one less. So let me know what you guys think.
