Uninstall and reinstall the TIDAL app While this step may seem simple, it’s often the first step towards a resolution. If you’re running an older version of TIDAL, you may run into some hiccups. Ensuring the TIDAL app is running on the latest version could potentially be a quick fix.
Make sure your device software is up-to-date As we release new updates, your device software may no longer be compatible with the latest TIDAL version.
General playback issues - Force close and restart TIDAL
- Clear your cache
- Does the issue occur while streaming content outside of TIDAL? If so, this indicates a problem with your network or device. Try using a different network connection (WiFi, data connection)
- Determine if the same issue happens on a different device. For example, is the issue happening on iOS but not the desktop app? The issue might be with the impacted device's data connection, settings, or hardware.
Playback Paused message This happens when a previous TIDAL session is still active. Online activity is limited to a single stream per user. Logging out of all your prior sessions should easily solve this. If that doesn’t do the trick, resetting your password will.
General buffering issues TIDAL HiFi and higher audio files like MQA require a higher source of streaming data. For internet speeds, we recommend a minimum speed of 1 Mbps for HiFi, and 2 Mbps for Master tracks. Speeds lower than this will result in streaming disruptions.
No sound is playing - Check the Sound Output selected is correct
- Make sure your sound drivers are up-to-date
- Try playing the music on a different output
- Try other streaming applications
My playback stopped after playing the last track on the queue using TIDAL Connect Autoplay is not implemented in TIDAL connect yet, so playback will always stop after the last track in the queue. Currently, this is expected behavior.
TIDAL video files are downloading on my device. This is expected behavior. If you see video files downloading on your device, please note that these are cache files only. They are automatically recorded on the device when using the app and it is expected behavior. The app will fill the cache with files when used. We do not have the means to change this, as it is an automatic process. For more information on how to clear your cache, check out this
help article.
Chromecast will only play tracks in HiFi quality. Expected behavior when playing a Master, 360 Reality Audio and Dolby Atmos track while connected via Chromecast is that it will fall back to HiFi. This is because Chromecast does not support these streaming qualities.
Receiving an error that tracks cannot be added under Favorites If you receive an error that states the track cannot be added under your Favorites, you may have maxed out. The track limit is 10,000. Please remove some favorites in order to make room for new tracks.

2023.03.20 20:10 aj_school_reddit New smart bulb does not fully turn off with app
Hi all,
I have just installed this
https://www.toolstation.com/4lite-wiz-led-st64-smart-filament-wi-fi-bulb/p77883 with a new rose. I used all Wago push levers to connect the wires.
After a battle to get it connected, it appears to work fine. When using the physical switch, it turns off completely. However, when using the app (or Google) to turn it off, it does not turn off completely; there is still the slightest glow!
Any ideas?
I was worried about some sort of voltage leak in the wiring, but that seems only to be if it stayed on after the physical light switch is pressed - and this is not the case!
Annoyingly, the wife wanted a new rose and flex (some fancy looking thing), and it is a screw whilst all the others are bayonet, so I can't test it in another socket!
Any ideas? Many thanks in advance.
p.s don't buy the wiz bulbs! They look awesome, but I have 8 smart bulbs in the house and have never had so much trouble connecting!

2023.03.20 17:41 AaronRStanley1984 Home Server Build Help Needed
Hey y'all, how ya doing?
So, for background, my story goes that in summer of 2021, while recovering from a surgery, I began to explore cordcutting Netflix due to spiralling subscription prices. In the course of my looking, I found Plex, and my family and I quickly got on board.
I organized my existing collection of media, and streamed it on our home network. As that process continued, I came across the beginnings of my *arr stack, Sonarr and Radarr, which I began to use for tracking metadata, and library management.
Last summer, I began to come up with the idea to build a home server, and given that I have built my own PC in the past, took it on as a project. I took to Reddit, and did my best to come up with a build, and totally did not due a good job. However, the community took over, and
u/DaanvS laid out a build (
https://www.reddit.com/buildapc/comments/u8phqm/comment/i5mj5dz/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) that sent me on the path of a build that isn't for shite.
I took to buying the parts, and have since had to make changes due to availability in my market (Canada, southern Ontario), but lead me to a build I very much look forward to firing up for the first time soon.
Intent is to be a home media server, and also be a base for as much cordcutting and selfhosting as possible, eventually to include as many services as possible. My family and I are looking to be as self-reliant as possible in the future, which is ironic that I'm now here asking for help.

Q) I believe from the research I've done that the above is a reasonably easy to achieve run-state for a relative newcomer, and also likely to work for my application.
Q) Currently, I have four WD Red 4TB 5400RPM drives serving as storage drives. I plan to migrate to recertified EXOS20TB drives, eventually filling the case with 10 of them. Is there a better drive than the EXOS?
Q) We plan to add drives when possible, is TrueNAS Scale able to add drives to pool, or replace drives in a pool, outright? Would I need to install the 20tb, add it to a new pool, transfer the data, delete and remove the 4tb?
Q) Would upgrading from the 2x8GB to 2x16GB be a worthwhile upgrade, or is there another configuration of RAM that would be better?
Q) As the build stands, I'm getting warnings on needing on additional SATA power connection (which will likely increase, as I plan to add/replace to a total of 12 drives, 10 x 3.5" 20TB for the storage pool and 2 x 2.5" operating/backup drives. If I do, I'll be short I estimate a total of EIGHT (8) SATA data connection ports, and SIX (6) SATA power connections. Currently, there are three empty molex connectors, I've been given to understand there are molex to SATA adapters that daisy chain? Can anyone suggest one?
Q) To solve the data connection issue, I'm a bit confused. It seems that I need what's called an HBI card, and I've honed on the adaptec asr-71605 or an LSI 9208-8i (and I believe that getting one in IT mode is necessary)?
Q) I believe that the connection card for the SATA cables will take up the PCIex16 slot. What is a good use of the unused PCIe x1 slots?
Q) Is there any software for server monitoring and maintenance that would be recommended? Or other software (hosting page)?
Thanks to anyone that took the time to read all, or some of this. I hope you like the build, or that I at least don't seem completely mad.
