Looking to fly from Japan (not 100% sure from what city, possibly Tokyo) to South Korea or Thailand but unsure of what arilines I should be looking at? And if anyone has any advice on which country to visit between SK or Thailand any input is welcome!

King’s Landing The Day After The King’s Feast

Blunted swords rang against each other in the early morning, ringing out into the rousing city alongside the idle bells of first prayer.
Two brothers were hard at work honing the skills they had earned at Seagard, circling one another upon a courtyard of radial mosaic tiles. Long shadows cast from nearby buildings were only partial respite for the spring sun rising on the horizon, confining their only observers to the periphery.
Morden had bound one hand behind his back, forcing him to wield the cumbersome longsword with one hand alone. His brother had no such limitations, bringing a sword and shield to repel his assaults and punish his twin’s mistakes. Perhaps he had grown accustomed to the featherweight of Valyrian steel, or the evening’s trials left him fatigued, but neither were cause enough to bid them rest.
From the comfort beneath the inn’s pavilion, their mother afforded the occasional glances, but was largely engrossed in a reading. Her lady-in-waiting, Maegelle Celtigar, had been given the task of orating The Dances of Dragons, A True Telling. Meanwhile, she busied herself with a wide fan to keep both the heat and the stench at bay.
All eyes, save their reader’s, idly turned on Morden when he attempted to circumvent his twin’s defenses again. He wielded the sword akin to a spear, thrusting low and high, probing for weakness as the blunted weapon was bashed back continuously. Ser Morden’s persistence made Lady Mordane narrow her eyes furtively, curious to see if he had some other game afoot. All the while, Morden had not broken eye contact with Ser Owen a single time.
They danced in a slow circle, never giving an inch, yet the affair was over in an instant. Morden’s gaze flickered, Owen followed it, bringing his shield to bear to a spot his brother had no intent of striking. With a turn of his wrist, Morden changed the feint into a single clean blow to the side of Owen’s head, the flat side of his blade slapping his neck.
“Dead,” Morden declared, with no triumph in his voice.
“Deadady-dead-dead,” Owen agreed, with a faint tension in his voice. His brother had struck fairly hard, “Well-struck, brother.”
“Well-guarded,” Morden answered with a thin smile. A bead of sweat rolled down his pale forehead. He set his sword aside and did the same with his twin’s. The brothers retreated to their mother’s side to parch their thirst.
“Where are our sisters?” Owen sighed, half-emptying his waterskin over his face and spitting the rest to the mosaic tiles, “We’ve been at this for hours.”
“Unroused and hungover,” Mordane replied with a vague disappointment, but spoke more carefully to not obstruct her lady-in-waiting in her reading. Meredyth returned having taken her fill of the feast’s offering, red in the face and bemoaning her aching limbs after hours of unrepentant dancing. Myranda had been sullen and morose, with the weight of some self-inflicted ghost hanging on her shoulders.
To think these were her eldest children, when she and her eldest son had tortured a man to death just hours ago, and now sat just after sunrise with only the barest creature comforts.
“Rosamund?” Morden queried further. Mordane visibly rolled her eyes, and gave her hand a rest from fanning herself.
“What else?” Lady Banefort replied, clicking her tongue, “Playing ambassador in the city.”
“She forgets herself,” Ser Morden answered flatly, “She was… errant during the celebrations.”
“She is young,” Lady Banefort said tersely, almost scoldingly, “To be young is to be mercurial. She will only be a maiden for so long, just as you were only boys until the day you left for Seagard. I’m starting to believe you forgot to do the same…”

I’ve been relatively alright with women. I think they’re great some can be extremely arrogant, but so can men. I’m relatively empathetic and a nice person to people that treat me the same way. I have a job and a car not that i think valuables are worth anything tbh. I’ve learned to lose money and just treat it like a speeding fine. What i mean by that is if i lose money from a stock or something. Sorry not very relevant just explaining my situation. I manage to get a decent amount of action and I’m definitely not afraid or a shy person sexually. The girls i’ve hooked up with stay friends with me and friends with benefits sometimes. But I’ve only had 2 girlfriends and the first one was for a week in my 2nd year of high school. I broke up with her cause i wasn’t actually attracted to her once i saw her without make up and didn’t wanna fake it and lead her on. My 2nd relationship was a month and the girl cheated on me while i was in another state to see my cousins and aunty and grandparents on my dads side. So what it all comes down to. Basically girls like me but don’t seem to be interested in dating. I don’t know if it’s my personality or that I’m just a reserved person that doesn’t drink or do drugs. I’m very physically fit, & i workout everyday. Not to try and sound like i have a chip on my shoulder. But there is a girl atm who likes me properly and wants to come to my city soon and stay with me for a while and she is very interested in dating, we talk on facetime alot. But she has a boyfriend. The thing is her boyfriend has cheated on her multiple times and given her an STD before. So yeah he doesn’t have respect for her. Am i in the wrong?

Hey LARPers! I'm new here and am looking for some direction. I've been inspired by some of the videos produced by Skill Tree and Living Anachronism and would like to try out a LARP for myself to see if this is something I can really sink my teeth into.
Location: My partner and I live in the Denver metro area in Colorado. I don't really have a good idea of events that might be near me but I think a 4-6 hour drive from the city in any direction would be the max distance we would want to travel for our first event.
Budget: I hate to be vague here, but the tabo "as cheaply as possible" kind of rings true here. I think we are both willing to spend a bit more for a premium event/experience, but the investment into costuming and props is something we would like to ease into as we participate in the hobby more and more. We are decently handy/crafty so making our own costumes is the route we will likely go down. Honestly, the gear is a hurdle I hope to overcome after I've found an event to plan for.
Setting: As mentioned above, I've been inspired by some YouTube channels posting about their experiences at larps like Reckoning, Conquest, and Pennsic. These big events are what really intrigue me for a few reasons. First, having a large community of people typically tells me that the community is inclusive and welcoming of newcomers. Second, my partner will likely be a concom so making sure there is plenty for her to do outside of combat is critical to her enjoyment and wanting to continue coming back for more. Third, I really want to be surprised and delighted at the unexpected and unknown, and the more players in the mix the more opportunities for surprises.
I'm a long-time Dungeon Master for D&D, but I haven't been able to play for quite some time since I moved. I'd like to try out LARPing to see if it will scratch that fantasy storytelling itch I so desperately crave.
What I'm mostly looking for is a multi-day immersive experience. I'm genuinely not interested in the weekend sparring matches or similar events. I want something that has stakes for all the characters involved, and I want both social and physical challenges to be present.
I'm sure I am asking for a lot with this, so I'm not entirely confident that what I'm looking for exists, but I'm hopeful that I've overlooked an event in my Google searches.

Any suggestions for 3/4 days drive covering romantic road from Frankfurt? The idea is to finish at Füssen however the return flight is from Frankfurt on 4th night .

6 more student days (7 teacher days). My anxiety is insanely high. Feel almost dizzy from it. My BP was 145/90 and HR 90 when pulling in to parking lot (was 65 in morning). Band teacher 6-12 with lots of end-of-year stuff to do/organize. No AC in band room and its really hot. Think I just need to vent and ask for the sending of the positive vibes (I know there are many out there feeling this way!)
I see a therapist 2x a month. I am doing the deep breathing, PMR, and even on 5MG valium. Just.....need.....to.....make it to that light at the end of the tunnel! Just think I am in a constant fight-or-flight mode. Pretty close to a full blown panic attack.

Basically what the title says but here’s more info. He basically gave me no choice because he said “I’m moving to Kansas City for work and if you’re not coming than you’re going to end up a single mom of two children” which now looking back wouldn’t have been so bad because I have way more family and friends back home that would be willing to help. His brother lives here but his brother is pretty much useless in terms of helping out in a pinch. We never had crazy amount of help but it was nice to have them in case of car troubles or his mom lived right next to the school so if we needed her to pick up or drop off it was never an issue. Now on top of all of this I’m pregnant. I took 2 plan b thinking I was safe back in April and lo and behold it’s not and MO doesn’t offer abortions 🤷🏻‍♀️ so I will be having to keep this baby as well because I refuse to do a surgical abortion. Another thing that really bothers me is the crime out here. We live right next to the bad part of KC in independence because honestly that’s all we could afford. Which is crazy to me because his biggest reasoning for moving down here is because he was going to be making so much more money, but compared to the cost of living down here we’re still struggling. Not only that but this house that he rushed us into buying is showing signs of many issues already. We have brown recluse infestation. He refuses to take care of our mess of a yard, which I would but I’m feeling awful and throwing up constantly due to the pregnancy. He handles all of our money and he won’t renta dump trailer. I told him days before when we realized the previous sellers weren’t fixing up the issues we thought were the only ones I do not want this house and he pressured me into it anyway. This is not somewhere I want my children to grow up. The town we came from wasn’t horribly small and he could have had opportunities there but he just burnt his bridges with a lot of the work places down there due to being arrogant. My kids love there dad so I don’t want to take them away from them but I literally can’t stay in this city. At least not single. I hate it so much, I cry everyday, I’m feeling extremely anxious and depressed, I miss my family and I regret moving down here but he peer pressured me into it. I know I’d be able to find work easily if I moved back home and I’m heavily considering it. As much as we all love my husband he can be very emotionally abusive at times so I think that makes it worse. I really need advice and I feel like I screwed myself in the end because I feel like I’m not going to be able to move away from this nightmare because of the kids but as I said before crime is horrible here and we can’t afford to live in a nice neighborhood so this is not where I want my children growing up. I’m too afraid to even let them go play in the front yard. Yes we’re young and that probably plays into all of this but I just can’t stay here for much longer unless there’s some kind of drastic change also we can afford therapy with all of the baby appointments, new house repairs and the two current children we already have.

Genre: Top-Down Car Combat, 2D
Estimated year of release: Mid-2000s
Graphics/art style: animated, cartoon-realism. The game was set in Texas/Mexico I believe so there was a Western/dusty aspect to it. Cars were 2d, you had a birds eye view of a wore-down town and you would drive on dirt roads.
Notable characters: I don't remember much of a plot, the main character was a car that drove around and shot at other cars collecting swag and guns.
Notable gameplay mechanics: you played as a car that drove around the center of your screen. The car would follow your mouse which you also used to aim a gun. Rival cars would shoot at you and they would drop items when you destroyed them. The most memorable item being "swag" that you could sell for power-ups, I believe the it used a watch as the on-screen item. 2d cars would drive around dusty old towns shooting at each other and collecting items.
Other details: there was heavy drug/cartel influence in the game. You would attack rival gang members. I don't believe this was a mainstream title and may have been more of an indie game. I may have downloaded it from download.com where I would get a lot of game demos when I was younger.

In short, there are underground city ruins the party has found an entrance for, left and returned to the surface, and now hate the NPC that 'owns' the entrance and won't return (turns out that when a god asks you for something and you say 'no', they don't appreciate it). They've been looking for alternative entrances, knowing of only one outside the city.
They found an old scroll that when translated had riddle-like directions to a temple. It mentioned statues, and when asking about statues in the city I informed them of a statue garden that existed, and this is where I believe I have accidentally mislead them into thinking that this scroll does refer to this place, and they're set on searching that area next session. Thing is, the scroll is far older than the city they live in, and was found originally in a treasure hoard near the entrance of the ruins that was around prior to their city (they know this), and thus can't really refer to anything in the current city.
I didn't intend for there to be more than one actual entrance to these ruins, as that god's temple was the guard/gate for it, and the secondary entrance was opened by accident by some kobolds. We've been on a bit of a lull while they avoid going back to this NPC or venture out to the other entrance.
I'm torn between changing up the lore I planned to allow this scroll to lead them to another entrance like they think, and just pulling some strings to make it make sense, or simply revealing to them when they don't find anything at this statue garden that their characters realize this scroll is too old to refer to anything in their city. In that case though I'm afraid it'll feel too much like I'm trying to railroad them into returning to that NPC. This was pitched to them as a mix between an urban and dungeon crawl campaign, and they've sort of stepped away from the dungeon that would give them answers they've been looking for and failing to find in the city.
Sorry if this seems to vague, I'm trying to avoid writing out a novel of what lead up to this, but worried I'd be pushing too much into railroading if they just keep running into dead ends because they've set themselves on an incorrect interpretation from what I intended. TIA!

I’m just spitballing here so feel free to propose your own thoughts.
Dragon mentions breathing fire and the apocalypse but it also specifically calls the dragon a “winged demon” and “demonic bird reptilian” (also use Tchort a russian term for devil used in Horology). They then mention it being “born of the tempest” and being able to control storms. Furthermore it says “atomic space/ chaos it reeks/ pilots shriek / cities week” and then the chorus about the air dilating and gyrating. Lastly from the song it says “it hath arisen from chairest lair”.
In Lord of Lighting and Balrog we get imagery about the” Lord's electric snare One goes in his electric chair” and “luckless hostage has been thoroughly fried” leading to the corpse becoming the balrog. Then in Balrog it talks about the atom splitting, an entity coming to eat you, it’s pure evil, and it’s blowing flames down on people. Lastly then entity preached the apocalypse but is being fought back by the Lord of Lightning.
Also the “what hath god wrought” in Dragon matches up with the people worrying for their lives and about to give in to the Balrog

Travel partner and I are getting older and really want to be a bit more comfortable on long haul flights but we don’t have upgrade money. We were thinking of buying the middle seat as a cheaper way to get enough room. Has anyone done this? How does it work? You have to put in traveler info when you book a seat, do you just put the same person twice? I also know getting reshuffled by the airline after you’ve picked your seats is not uncommon, have you experienced getting moved away from your extra seat?

I've been monitoring a my flight from SFO - HND's PZ availability for a week now and finally see PZ1 but I need 1 more for my wife :D. The flight is on June 23 and there are J9 and JN9 seats available. It's probably too risky to buy this single PZ and wait for another considering this is SFO and ALSO to Japan?

I'm headed down to TJ, Mexico and I'm taking a train from Sacramento, CA to San Diego. I'm in Medford, OR and the Greyhound to Sac arrives at 1am the day of my train departure which is at 6PM. Now, how dangerous is it at 1am in the Sac Greyhound station? And what the fuck do I do with my time to wait for next day 6PM?
Jesus it's going to be a long night/day.

This may sound dumb, but is it okay to not work out?
So I (16M) never really cared about working out and staying fit. I am not fat, but I am not fit either. However recently my gf started talking about how she wants to go to the gym. I didn't understad why she would want to do that because she is skinny already. I told her I am hapoy for her, because I am trying to be as supportive as possible. However I started thinking about how weak I am and how everyone is going to the gym except me. I looked at my body and thought how lazy I am. You could say "well, if you don't like your body, you can go to the gym like your gf!" and that sounds great, but I don't have money (my parents give me money very rarely), I don't have much time (I live far from any gyms andthe closest one is in a different city than my school, so I would have to get back from school and then go to the gym, which also sounds okay, but my school is 1 hour from my home by bus) and I am anxious. I am feeling horrible about myself. I would like to be fit so much, but I know that even if I had the money, the time and the self-confidence I would still fail. I don't want to look bad next to my gf. I don't want people making fun of me, because I'm weak. I don't want people to make fun of my gf, because her bf is weak.
Should I start working out at home? Or should I wait until I can afford to go to the gym? Or should I wait untill I have my own place to stay and then go to the gym? Feel free to give me suggestions. Also, just to clarify, I just want to look good and be a little stronger, I don'twant to be ultra ripped.

The game only got my attention, because I saw a video about and that it allowed you to wear a police uniform, instead of the suits from the TV show. And since I'm sucker for action games that allow you to play as a cop in uniform, I gave it a try.
And yes, it was fun. It's supposedly a prequel to the movie and the story isn't anything to call home about. It also ends on a cliffhanger and overall, it's a pretty straight forwards shooter.
As for the gameplay, you walk through linear levels with a Resident Evil 4 styled control scheme, in that the camera follows your movement and you can either shoot or move, but not both. Instead, you have a cover system which doesn't allow you to blind fire, but has some nice animations.
As for the progression, there are two currencies. Money and Reputation, with the money being on a more shady side. You see, during the levels, you collect drugs but instead of locking them away, you sell them to dealers and also use them to get intel on upcoming missions.
You can also buy drugs and dealing them is the only way to make money, which only exacerbates the problem you try to fight.
And the only point of Reputation is that you are able to deal with drug barons, which in turn only worsens the drug problem in the city, but they give you more money than regular dealers.
Reputation itself is tied to the difficulty, i.e. the harder you make the game for yourself, the more reputation you get. As an example, if you only go into a level with a suit, a pistol and a shotgun, you get the full amount of reputation. If you take the armored police outfit and waltzt in with your Assault and Sniper Rifle, you will barely get any. Same goes for Medkits. The more you use, the less reputation you get.
And while those things are trivial at the start, the difficulty does pick up later on and you really have to weight your possible reputation bonus against your arsenal and the heat the bad guys will be packing.
Overall, I enjoyed my time with the game and personally, I think you can feel that Rebellion had fun creating it.
